GoCat Da Bird Cat Toy Refill Accessories, Handmade in the USA, Sparkler

I couldn’t find anything like this at the pet store - the tinsely looking toy. I found this and my cats love it. Price seemed high for just this little attachment but it is made well and has not fallen apart like others I’ve had.

My cats love love love sparkler streamers; the old wand gave out and all the snap ons I had eventually fell apart too and I bought this one, they still love it! The sound and colors really attract them and the metallic nature of the material really makes a rustling noise when you toss it around. My cats don’t respond as enthusiastically to felt or feather teasers, but the Mylar like ones wow. This is also a great cat toy because it has a leader like fishing attachment so you can interchange when needed. But in regards to those that say it’s a dangerous toy- wands should NEVER be left out after YOU are done playing with them. I never leave the wand out when I am done playing with my cats mainly for the reason because they can eat parts that are harmful. They are 9 years old now and still alive and love wand cat toys. This toy is used to enact the predatory instincts in your cat and if left unmonitored they are likely to eat it- of course if they eat it it can cause problems... I’m not trying to be insensitive to anyone who has had a bad experience with their cats eating the toy but.. it’s not something that should be left accessible to the cat unsupervised! Anyways, great toy- just be responsible about it

My cat loves those little plastic Mylar balls, but he always tears them apart, and I’m afraid he’ll eat them. However, having this (kept out of his reach when not in use) is great! The plastic feel and sound trigger his prey instinct. Just be careful to look for and dispose of any pieces that come out as the attachment gets use!

Just connect to a wand. They love playing with this.

The minute this was put on our Da Bird wand, our cats went insane for it. We have a boy & girl, and usually when our boy is playing with a wand toy, our girl sits it out because he's kinda wild. When the Sparkler was added, she did not care. She was gonna play with it no matter what he was doing with it. Like most Da Bird toys save for the feather ones, it IS possible for the cat to pull out some of the pieces. So be careful that they don't eat any.

My kitten loves it. She scrabbled, ran and flew after it for half an hour, then followed me around trying to get at it as I was putting it away. It makes a very distinctive sound she can't seem to resist. A couple of pieces came loose, so I don't expect it to last very long. However, if it continues to get her to fly around, I'll buy several more.

My cat LOVES this attachment. He really does not care about the feather or pompom type attachments for the cat wand this goes to, but this sparkly streamer attachment always gets him excited. He will even bat around the tassle when removed from the wand. I think we're on our 3rd or 4th because he rips them bald. I think they usually last about 4 months of violent play. The only improvement that could be made on this product is to use a safety pin to attach it to the wand. There is a clasp on the wand line that opens to hook onto the different attachments BUT it is way to stiff and makes it hard to open. I just use a safety pin to link the tassel loop to the line clasp.

It's hard to go wrong with anything GoCat makes, and this is no exception. My cat, Malibu, is very driven by this wand toy. I give him a great workout, running and leaping after it while releasing his prey drive. A few of the sparkly ribbons have come off with rough play, but there's still plenty more.
