Rust In Peace Live

A great album performed in its entirety!

Rust in Peace was the very first album I bought with my own money, I listened to it every day pretending I was Dave Mustaine playing air guitar and screaming the lyrics, and I always thought most of the songs were impossible to play live, and it turns out I wasn't so wrong. For years Megadeth has been performing just a bunch of songs from this album, leaving some of the fan favorites out of their live sets. Well that ended in 2010, when they announced they would be playing the whole album live, This CD compiles the last USA performance of the "Rust in Peace 20th Anniversary Tour", and no matter what haters said, this CD is GREAT. The actual performance was different as Rust In Peace is performed in the middle of the show (3 songs - Rust in Peace album - 4 songs), in this CD, you get the album first and as bonus tracks the rest of the songs performed that night (minus The Right to Go Insane).For any Megadeth fan this is a must-have, I also had the chance to see them live here in Venezuela where they performed the same set and this CD reminds me a lot of that great night.

IF you like rust in peace, this cd gonna love it, because sounds very hard and a little bit faster than original one. Totally recommended.

I love all Dave Mustaine music I even bought the book he wrote years ago, rust in peace live is different and very good. I would recommend you buy it. Dawn

No talking between songs during Rust in Peace, a plus, not to mention the excellent playing and sound. Recommended!
