Is a good option for when the factory antenna hits the garage door

I drive a 2016 Silverado 1500 LT. My factory antenna snapped off in a storm. Mostly static after that. I spoke to the dealer, they said the entire antenna and wiring under the dash needed to be replaced. $1200!! I didn't realize the base of the antenna screws off. Once I figured this out, I ordered this product and installed it. Works great! No static. Screwed it on by hand, easy fix and affordable!

When I purchased My used 2020 Chevy Silverado it didn't have an antenna. No radio reception. Short profile and easy to install. Perfect reception for AM FM radio, of course only to supplement CarPlay Sirius and Spotify from cell phone.

Looks good and no problems at the carwash. FM reception in the metropolitan area I live in is just as good as the factory. When you get out of the area it isn’t as good, but that isn’t a problem for me.

This antenna is exactly as advertised. It's works great on my truck, and I would even say that it picks up signal a little bit better than the original antenna while it's still in the garage! And, now I can drive into my garage without hitting the antenna!

I have had this on my 2014 2018 and now my 2025 Silverado they work just fine pulling in the stations have never had a problem with and look good and don't smack the garage top opening when I pull in the garage.

Easy to install. Fit my 2021 silverado. Has decent reception. Overall i recommend. I bought it basically because my factory antenna was scraping the roof when going in and out of garage.
