Great Game with a Few Flaws
This is the best Madden in years. The game is improved in a lot of ways and is fun to play, but there are a few annoying problems that some others have mentioned. Computer QB accuracy is way out of whack. When you play the computer, the opposing QB (no matter who he is) will always throw for a very high percentage. I'm talking Geno Smith and Mark Tannehill throwing at 80%+ accuracy. The new defensive line rush abilities are nice, but they also need some adjustments. I created a LE and ended up shattering the NFL season sack record in my rookie year - I had 63 sacks in 16 games and also broke the single game sack record with 11. The commentary is still bad and is often totally inaccurate but I've come to ignore it for the most part - it's probably the one thing I wish Madden would focus on for next year's version of the game. One other odd part of the game is the penalties. There were a number of offsides and facemask penalties, but I never saw a single holding or pass-interference penalty (defensive or offensive) the entire season.

Every Game Has Flaws
There is not a perfect game out there. Every game has flaws. And it's difficult for sports games to be good year after year. But I have to say that this one is worth ur money. I won't go into all the details because the pros and cons are already on here.If you're unsure about the game rent it first like I did. And if u enjoy it then buy it. If not then you won't be losing anything. Graphics could be better but game play is good. Sure there are things that make u say "what" but for me it is still a good experience. So once again, rent it, try out the different game modes and if you like it then get it while it's $49.99.

Best Madden I can remember
This is the best Madden I can remember in a long time. The revamped defense has lived up to expectation. BE WARNED: It takes time to get used to, as evidenced by my first game. On Madden 25, I had consistently played on All-Madden and it was definitely the right level for me. On my first game on Madden 15, I lost 38-3. Oh, well. I highly suggest using the skills trainer more than you think you need to.The presentation is a lot better. No longer do we have to watch the same players drinking water during every time out. It's great that they were super thirsty, but who really cared? It feels much more like a TV presentation. The graphics and gameplay are notably better. Gameplay is smooth (no more 50-foot jumping linebackers!) and the physics feel authentic; players no longer fly five yards backward on a conservative tackle. My main complaint is that the CPU defense might be a tad too good. There are probably sliders to adjust this, but the default is a little absurd. Many of the passes that could be completed in the past are now swatted away by defenders. I'm not saying this should never happen, but it feels like every time you try to fit the ball into a tight window, it's incomplete. For God's sake, Peyton should be able to complete a few tough passes!I highly recommend this game. The main knock on Madden is that it is just a roster update year-to-year, but this is NOT one of those years! The team clearly put effort and thought into this game. I can't wait to play it some more.

Not too bad. Fun, but not addicting.
Haven't owned Madden in 5 years but played the last few versions on friends 360. I bought this because they don't make NCAA anymore and I had a football hankering. To say this game is beautiful is probably an understatement. Everything looks great visually (except the Phil Simms and Jim Nantz renders, I don't know why they're even included). The stadiums, atmosphere, menus, uniforms and helmets all look excellent. That is the strength of the game to me. Being wowed by visuals is nice. Granted this is only my second PS4 sports game following FIFA 14. The arrangement of the menu structures is fine. Maybe too many menus to move through sometimes but nothing to complain about. The gameplay is middle of the road for me. I am not a hardcore player. I don't play others online and I rarely play on all-madden. I like a game to be challenging but not so hard that I have to resort to cheesing tactics (running the same 2 plays because the game glitches on it - used to do halfback pass in an older version of Madden and then run it to get a decent rush average). I'm not a great madden player, for some reason was always better at NCAA. So with Madden 15 I've found a happy medium putting it on All-Pro and adjust my sliders to get fair stats. I like that my running back is only averaging 4.2 ypc, however, I don't like how the players get tackled anymore (the animations for tackle seem outlandish at times, going thru linemen or just magically tackling you for impossible angles) or go down because they bumped a teammate. I've read about it being realistic and all, but I don't feel like Adrian Peterson would fall down instantly because he ran into a teammate. The passing is fine, although I feel that the AI gets interceptions too easily still, while my guys just let the ball hit their helmet most of the time. Funny, but then annoying after a few times. I don't like that the AI seems all or nothing with passing either. Drew Brees went 18-20 against me, but then so did Charlie Whitehurst the next week. Seems ridiculous. Another game had Mike Glennon go 1-9 which is also absurd. After adjusting a few settings it seems like most QBs go around 75% completions against me while still driving the field. The 3 star rating is because I feel uninvolved on D. This has been an issue in football games for 5 years now at least. I have resorted to playing on the dline, which is fun at times, but I played the LB positions from ncaa 2003-08 with no problem. Issue I see is that the AI seems to know where you are and instantly takes advantage of you or blocks you. I'm probably doing something wrong but regardless, the game isn't that enjoyable on D. I also dislike the return game. I haven't even gotten close to taking a kick or punt back. There is very little blocking, everyone stays flawlessly in their lanes, and then even if you break a tackle there are 3-4 other defenders ready to pounce. It'd be nice to see some variation. There is a reason Deion Sanders was a legend or Devin Hester, because they took multiple punts back in single seasons.I don't think this game is worth $60 ... but it can be fun at times. Comparatively, I played FIFA 14 a ton, and still do. I think I logged 2 season with Norwich City and 3 more with Wolfsburg and see no reason to get new FIFA because this one is still fun. Madden doesn't pull me in every day for more I guess.

Be careful what you think your buying new isn't!
Game was advertised as brand new. Came in a wrap that wasn't factory sealed and the disc was damaged. Smudges all over the disc and a ring around the outside the couldn't be removed. The disc wouldn't even load up to be played.
