With all the automatic liftgate opening features in SUVs these days, anyone ever have it open when you weren't expecting it? Or, in my case when I was parked in the garage. Sure, it closes again but not after scratching the paint on the edge of the liftgate. This product, and the carbon style, looks and works great on the liftgate. If it opens inadvertently, it closes per the built in safety feature without scratching the paint (had this happen to me on a brand new car several years ago).
