Q: I’m looking for something to wear paddle boarding when it’s in the 50s to keep me warm. Will this work?

Unfortunately, this is not something to wear to keep you warm. This is more like a dive skin. You would want something a little thicker.

Q: Female 5’6” weight 120. Recommended size?

buy bigger than your normal size. but know it is a poor construction. My zippers failed the first dive. I used it for 3 days and will never be able to use it again.

Q: Will this suit keep the skin under it dry?

No, this is a skin suite and is made of the same material a swim suite is. Not even a wet suite will keep your skin underneath dry. If you are looking for something that will keep your skin dry you will need a dry suite and those are very expensive. However this one will provide a layer of protection from the sun and getting sunburn but you will still need sunscreen.
