Funster Tons of Sudoku 1,000+ Easy to Hard Puzzles: A bargain bonanza for Sudoku lovers

There's more positive than negative about this book, so let me start off with things that could have been better, then I'll sing the praises of the company.The instructions discouraged penciling in, which means writing tiny letters in the corner of boxes where you would guess a number belongs, but don't have solid proof. It's a guess. As someone who has played Sudoku for a while, I was able to ignore this, but a new player may struggle to solve puzzles from fear of guessing.However, this book was well worth the money, with 330 easy, 342 medium, and 330 hard, you'll be busy for the entire year. The easy puzzles take about 3-5 min, and the medium require minimal guesswork. The hard ones truly are difficult, but not so much so that you want to scream. In short, it's a great choice for someone just starting off, though maybe not for very experienced players. I fall in the former category, so it worked out.Some people were upset that there were six puzzles per page, but if there were less, this book would be incredibly bulky. The book is also a few inches wider and and taller than a composition notebook, so there's enough room to easily focus on one puzzle at a time, but just be careful.All in all, I like this book because there are plenty of puzzles and I can use the easy ones at night when I'm tired or to teach friends how to play. Well done, Funster!

These puzzles are reasonable size, on decent paper, and well-graded for difficulty.Lots of Sudoku for your buck.

This was supposed to be easy to hard but that assumed no learning. I found that I made mistakes in the easy such that I had 30 mistakes or a 90.9% success rate there. I measured success by using a pen & if I picked the wrong number than that puzzle was counted as one mistakes no matter how far I went, & how many errors there were before the mistake was detected. Once there was one mistake in a puzzle than any others didn't count. I attribute the mistakes to going to fast & just not seeing some objection to placing a wrong number where I had placed it. The medium puzzles had 49 mistakes for a 85.7% rate. This decrease I expected since it was harder. Again going too fast & not seeing something before I wrote. The hard produced a surprise in that the first 110 had 70.9% as was the second 110. Both at 70.9%. When I got to the third 110, I made an effort to slow down, & think. I also took advantage of insights I had gained along the way. The third was a 78.1% success rate.

It took no time at all to adjust to the small squares though the answers in the back are very fine print but I read about that in the reviews.

I do sudoku pretty regularly and consider myself decent at solving them. The easy ones take me about 5 minutes if not less. The hard ones have given me a challenge here and there, I always enjoy a challenge!! The size is good and easily readable. It has a decent amount of puzzles in it as well, I don’t like buying books that I finish in a couple weeks

This is a huge collection pf puzzles. Easys are easy, mediums provide a fair challenge, and some of the hards are sadistic. I've had to 'cheat' with a sudoku solver to get hints occasionally on the hard ones, but overall I can figure them out and enjoy taking the time to puzzle through them. It's a little difficult working in the book since I prefer to work each numbered puzzle by difficulty (easy medium hard puzzle 1, then 2 etc) so I'm constantly flipping around. The book binding is holding up well and with 1000 puzzles it will take me a while to get through it. I wanted a huge tome of puzzles when I bought this book but next time I'd probably opt for a large print option. I have a couple other Funster large type formats and they are easy to work in the books.

My friend is a shut-in, and she loves Sudoku above all other puzzles. Personally, I am terrible at it. That said, she said this book was just the right challenge level and she is truly enjoying completing each puzzle.

THIS IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE PUZZLE TO DO, SO WHEN I SAW HOW MANY SUDOKU PUZZLES THERE WERE I HAD TO BUY. THE ONLY THING I WISH IT WAS A LITTLE SMALLER OF A BOOK, BUT MY FAULT CUZ IT DID GIVE THE SIZE OF BOOK. NEXT TIME I'LL BUY LIKE 4 REGULAR SIZE PUZZLE BOOKS CUZ IT'S EASIER TO HOLD AND FOLD BACK PAGES. YES I WILL ORDER AGAIN

To be honest not purchased for me, my husband gets through a lot of books! He is happy !

Lo único que me sorprendió fue que es un libro grande, de tamaño carta y estaba acostumbrada a cuadernos mas chicos de sudokus pero está excelente! los sudokus están muy bien, son del nivel que marca, los difíciles me encantan porque se convierten en mayor reto. Excelente producto!
