I purchased 5 sets of these for our pool enclosure and installed them this weekend. The quality of the strings is very good and well thought out and it appears as if they made the string, then poured a solid rubber mold onto the set to make it very sturdy and water resistant. There is a mounting tab above each bulb so you can fasten them without pinching the wiring or risking damaging it. The sets come well packaged and there is no tangling. The bulbs are packed separately inside another box for additional protection and each set came with a spare bulb. Since we were stringing them over 25 feet lengths and some of them are over a pool, we ran a 1/8" galvanized steel cable and used stainless steel zip ties to fasten each bulb mounting tab to the cable to reduce the stress on the wiring and ensure safety. Firing up the lights for the first time was a WOW moment! The individual bulbs are not super bright but in the string they really light up the area with a nice incandescent glow. I wish we had found these years ago, I used to run white christmas lights along the enclosure to help light the patio up and would have to use flashlights to see the grill! There are similar lights from other sellers, but I am glad I purchased from Brightech, as the kits I got were high quality and really look more expensive than they are. While they are not inexpensive, they are a great value and I am so happy that I won't be worrying about whether the lights will work every time I use them like I would with the lower quality christmas lights with fake plastic globes made to look like these.

Perfect for a venue, backyard lights, wedding lights, etc. They have been hanging in my backyard for 3 years and only 1 bulb has broken. It comes with extra bulbs and is super high quality. Each set is 48 feet long & we needed 2 for our small deck.

This set of string lights is very high quality, thick gauge and strong. Here is what I recommend getting with this set: replace the bulbs that come with the set with these bulbs ... ASOKO LED Dimmable Vintage Edison Bulbs Antique Style 2300K Warm White (Amber Gold Glass), 6W. - these are a much more romantic or ascetically pleasing bulb to look at, with a very warm light. Plus they will last years longer than filament type bulbs, and use way less energy. Then add a remote control dimmer to the line: Otronics 580W Max Outdoor Dimmer for String Lights, w/ Wireless Remote You will also need a GE 3-Prong to 2-Prong Ground lift Adapter And depending on where your power source outlet is, you will most likely need an Outdoor Extension Cord, 3 prong Weatherproof, 16 Gauge And I cover all my connection points with black electrical tape. I first ran a line of rubber coated black wire on the path I wanted the lights to go on. Then I used black zip ties to attach the brightteck string lights to the wire. This made it so that the lights did not bend down so much between anchor points. It also takes some weight stress off of the string lights, and makes the whole line more secure in a wind storm.

These lights are excellent quality, fully dimmable, and give off a warm, inviting glow. The remote works flawlessly, and they create a cozy atmosphere on our deck.

Love these lights. Well made. Great look. We out three strands together to give out patio this look. We used electrical tape to wrap up the extra length between the strands to give the lights an even distance when connecting.

Nicely built it would appear. The other set I had was similar but had a cover for the outlet at the end of the string and came with 2 spare bulbs! Otherwise they seem good.

I never leave reviews and I thought that I must for these Brightech lights! We bought them to go around our deck, strung from 2x2x8 poles from Home Depot. We wanted to provide light and ambiance in the backyard while we sit. Well the ambiance is gorgeous, relaxing, and exactly how I wanted them to look. They are Edison lightbulbs which add character and lights are spaced apart about 3 inches, so they are not overwhelming. Something that took me by surprise that I think people should be aware of is their WEIGHT. These are commercial grade lights that can be used in cafés and restaurants. They're pretty but heavy duty... That being said, they are HEAVY. My original plan of hanging them did not work. I cemented the poles into planters and then added dirt and plants. The lights are so heavy that the planters fell right over. Instead, we drills the poles to the side of our deck so that they are immobile and the nights are hung from industrial eye hooks. It. Looks. Awesome! The weight has been accounted for and I am so happy with their quality. I am actually thankful for their weight, you get what you pay for!! Customer service is amazing, too!

I was skeptical of these because I accidentally bought the incandescent version and didn't realize each bulb with three feet apart. Opening up the package changed my mind. They have a thick heavy duty cord. The bulbs are glass. It was packaged nicely. I went back and forth on putting them up because I thought the spacing would be too far apart per bulb. Honestly, once I got them up I was really happy I kept them. They look great and high quality. They're bright enough and hang nice. I'll be looking to purchase led versions for the rest of the yard down the road and won't hesitate to purchase these again.

Lights work well. Added them to a dimmer switch and inside remote. Light wiring runs parallel......how do I know? Well a bloody squirrel chewed through one link making the light socket fall. The other is lights continued to shine. Mad but glad at the same time. So far so good. One less squirrel though.

One light socket doesn't work! Urgh. Annoying. Right out of the box.

The lights are awesome and I can’t wait to put them up in my gazebo
