Works perfectly, makes A7RIV more stable to hold when used with the Sony 200-600 lens. Very good when shooting in portrait mode, much easier to press shutter and C1/C2 buttons in portrait orientation. Item is well made and in similar material to camera body.

Montato su una A7R IV. Fondamentalmente ho incontrato due problemi che mi hanno fatto rendere indietro il BG. Primo: il selettore di accensione sul grip, invece che disabilitare le funzioni del grip stesso, agiva sull'alimentazione della fotocamera. In pratica per accendere la fotocamera il grip doveva necessariamente essere impostato in ON e spegnendo il grip si spegne anche la fotocamera. Fastidioso perché con grip sempre acceso è possibile toccare inavvertitamente i comandi verticali e diventa difficile usare la fotocamera. Secondo: presa una staffa L specifica per fotocamera con battery grip e non c'è stato verso di montarla (avrà dimensioni e forma differenti dall'originale). Prescindendo da questi motivi, per il funzionamento ed il feedback che restituisce, non ho avvertito nessuna sensazione negativa. Bello a vedersi e fatto discretamente bene.

Lo he comprado para una Sony a7iv y funciona perfectamente. El único "pero", que es una tontería, pero quiero comentarla, es el botón de disparo no es de color plata, es negro.

The product was delivered quickly. Very high-quality assembly. The buttons work as if they were original. I constantly use it for filming. It is especially good in portrait mode, but I bought it so that I wouldn’t have to worry about the battery draining.

Wasn't sure if this battery grips was gonna work with my A7RV but after months of looking at the same battery grips I finally decided to give it a shot hoping it would work. For me personally I think it fits, looks, and feels great on my A7RV and the added weight is a plus for me at least. Just be careful when setting it down while using heavier lenses cause it will be top heavy so it will tip over a bit and balance itself with the lens and battery grip body
