I recently installed track lighting in my garage and did not want to hassle with trying to run wiring down an interior wall to install a light switch due to multiple challenges. So instead of hard wiring the track lighting, I installed a plug cord to it. I purchased the Dewenwils Remote control outlet with wireless light switch, plugged it into the receptacle in the attic, plugged the track lighting into it, closed the attic door, and forgot about it! I am very pleased with the outcome as it works perfectly. It’s very convenient as well. The best thing is I didn’t have to get into the tight attic space to fish Romex down the wall cavity or make any holes in the drywall. I tested the range that the switch will pick up the signal and based on the location of my plug, 80ft is the max distance before it was out of range. This will differ for each based on location and obstacles between the plug and switch. The switch and plate are very stylish and looks good mounted on any wall. There are so many uses for this product. I highly recommend!

This thing works so great and solved my problem about just having a light control at my mom‘s bedside, but then nothing over by the door for this one particular lamp on her night table. This system allowed me to easily mount one right on the wall at the bedroom door that looks like an actual light switch, and the other I was able to fasten to the rail on her bed so she has finger touch control at two locations. Works great, and highly recommended!!!! I give it six stars!

I've been using this for ease of control for various mood lighting around my house and it works great. Just plug and play. Only knocking one star off due to a delay in response time to turn on. I've tried other brands and even though there's a slight lag, this one takes a bit longer than I'm used to but still works great.

I used to have to walk outside in the cold just to switch my electric water heater on.Those days are over after I installed this. It handles 1700W like a charm.What's even nicer about it is the ability to remove it from the bracket and temporarily attach it with its magnets elsewhere for easy reach - like a fridge. This is EXTRA useful when you want to toggle the water heater on/off while running other electrical appliances to avoid going over the max of your power source (shore/generator/solar system).Another perk is the bracket itself - unlike key fobs - this blends in really nice with the walls, without having to drill any holes or using hooks for the key chains, which just look sloppy. This also makes it easier to not lose!Cons:I couldn't find one but just for the sake of complaining, I wish it were available in Black.Conclusion:I'm getting another for my 1500W heater I use indoors, even though it's much within reach, because I'm lazy like that.Hope this helps anyone.

Sadly, I’m one of those consumers who typically only writes reviews to worn others when products are bad. However, I cannot help but write an awesome review for this product. I was looking at a smart light switch and smart lightbulb to add some extra light to a bedroom. That got very complicated. I had to download an app, and configure everything to the Wi-Fi then run it through Google home.Then I found this product. Super easy, preprogrammed, took just a few minutes to install. Also, about one third the price. What I really like about this product, is it comes with two switches. I mounted one to the wall, and put the other as a standalone remote sitting on the nightstand. It can be used like a typical three-way light switch. It took only minutes to install, while the smart light bulb and switch would’ve taken way more time and effort to learn, understand, and set up.I was so pleased with this product, that I purchased two more sets for elsewhere in the home. For example, I’m using one in the garage. I can have a switch on the wall and keep the removable remote in the car. That way I can turn on the light from the car before getting out, and turn off the light with the switch mounted at the door to enter the house.

Very easy to install and worked great…

I've purchased wireless switches at my local hardware store in the past, but all that was available were single outlet types. I had to use a multi outlet plug and a couple of extension cords to control two lamps.With this product I didn't need a multi outlet plug because the controller has two outlets, and, I only needed one extension cord in order to control two lamps. But, the bonus with this product is that it has two wall mounted switches that you can use, making the product a three way switch, controlling your lamps from two different locations.Great value for a great product.
