These look and feel like good quality units. Easy to install. I like the quality of the light. Having the ability to select the color temperature is important to me. Hopefully they will last!

Need to know some basic electrical wire to install as these lacked real instructions for installation. I was good with everything and how they work and they work great.

Installed fairly easy. You need a hole about an eight inch bigger than the diameter of the light. Having an electrical box on a cable helps make the installation simpler. My only gripe is there is no backing behind the rotating eye so you have a small passage straight to the attic if that is above your installation. I put a small conduit box over the light and notched the edges to clear the light clips.

I love these recessed lights. They are actually higher quality and cheaper than those you would get from Lowe’s or Home Depot. I had an electrician install them and he said it is straightforward to install on my ceiling. The lights can be set to white, soft white, and yellow tones. They work perfectly with my dimmable switch.

Installation - Overall product is easy to install, similar to regular pancake recessed lights. Wished it came with a connector for the box (which is only $0.65-80 a piece x5) for convenience. There's 3 knockouts available. I used a 4" hole saw to drill into soffits and it still worked. Only caveat is because the hole is tighter, it's harder to take out the light if you need to change the colors or modify in some way. But it's not impossible.Light - Has 5 color temp settings and is easy to change. Bright enough at night. The angle of the gimbal is limited so if you need a steeper angle, I suggest you get other lights.Cons - make sure to check the clip strength as one of the lights wouldn't get right and leave a little gap. I think you can modify the spring, but there's a chance to damage.

These lights are super simple that anyone who understands wiring could install them. But in order to use them to replace my existing recessed lights, I had to make an adapter in my 3D printer. It allows the lights to mount on the trim which was initially hollow. But past the creation portion, everything else was easy to install.As for the lights themselves, they're a bit brighter than the other LED bulbs I've used but also more directional. While they are bright enough to light the ambient setting in a room, their angle the light hits the ground is more limited. I would suggest that someone with a tall ceiling or wants more focused lighting on specific sections of a room to use these lights.
