I'm looking for something that hand handle a 200lb spoonbill. Will this rod handle that?

if you are fishing for 200lb fish,you need to find a deep sea trolling rod.

How far can a 6'9" pole cast?

It depends on the weight that you are using. When I cast out for saltwater fishing from shore, I usually get at least 50 -75 yards. Using just a worm and hook I can get 12-15 yards.

Hello I’m trying to buy this for someone as a gift but need to know if this is a good Sturgeon surgeon fishing Rod thanks in advance

It would depend on what your state fishing regulations allow for Sturgeon fishing. Like here, you can only take any that are 35 inches to 54 inches. Bigger or smaller you can't remove from the water. This would mean a fish in the 50-60 lbs weight class which i think this rod could handle if you were careful with it. But Sturgeon can be hundreds of lbs, i wouldn't trust those kinds of weights on a telescopic rod, no.

Love this combo

Arrived earlier than expected, thanks to Fulfilled by Amazon! Couldn't wait to open it up and was impressed with everything from packaging to the quality of all pieces in this combo. The rod came with a pouch, the tip was carefully protected from shipping damage. The rod feels sturdy and the reel spins smoothly.No that matters much but this is also a pretty looking rod.

Not impressed

The reel itself is holding up so far. I purchased this product in April an just recently (July 29) got to take it out fishing. While collapsing the rod for storage the reel fell off the rod when I looked at it closer the top portion that the reel slides into (the reel seat) was just glued on the rod an it failed allowing the reel to fall off completely. I only give this product two stars due to the fact the reel is still functioning at this point an I did like the rod until it started having glued pieces fail.

Is just what I wanted !

Wasn't sure I wanted a collapsible pole, but received it,geared it up and caught a couple catfish first time outand everything worked out great. 5 star
