This company is so awesome!
Pilis are definitely my favorite snack/fuel source since I discovered them on a shark tank rerun. I order from Amazon sometimes, but am also on subscription directly with Pili Hunters. I share with lots of people and they all fall in love, so I order way more than one person can eat. (They are a great pre workout fuel source.) Anyway, Pili Hunters really appreciates their customers and they make sure you know it. I keep finding freebie surprises in my direct orders and sometimes they are big gestures. I just love these nuts and have no need to try other brands because this company is great. If you haven’t tried any of their offerings, I highly recommend them. I have shared with TONS of people and have not come across anyone that didn’t love them.

THE BEST nut we’ve ever tasted!! Butter flavor and totally Keto friendly!!
I have to tell you that these are our absolute favorite nut now! I wish we could get them in local grocery stores they are that good. Reminds me of Macadamia nuts but oh so much better. Highly highly recommend these especially if you’re on a keto lifestyle. Can’t wait to order ours again the only concern I have is the price could be prohibitive to buying it more than once a month. I think one of the things that jumped out at us was the fact that it was sprouted which Dr. Berg and Thomas Delauer I believe have both stated that sprouted nuts are much easier on your digestive system and overall better for you. I have one car but the one fiber washes that out so very high in fat no carbs or sugar it’s great!

I actually really love these but pretty expensive!
I'd never heard about pili nuts. I was just on Amazon looking for sprouted nuts when these popped up. What a find! They taste exactly like butter and are so rich, it's actually a struggle to eat the packet in one serving, I usually do it in 2 or 3 servings. These nuts are great if you're paleo, keto or any form of lchf (low carb high fat) because unlike most other nuts, they have virtually no carbs and are pretty much all fat. If you're none of paleo/keto/lchf but you have a sensitive stomach that is easily bothered by nuts, seeds, legumes etc, the fact that these are sprouted makes them VERY gentle on the digestion and that's what for me, makes them quite a find for snacking on when the late afternoon slump comes on at work. This would totally have been a 5 star purchase except for the price. They're REALLY expensive for the quantity you get and I understand why, it just doesn't change the fact that this isn't a sustainable snack habit. This is more of something you get as an occasional treat or something you have maybe once or twice a week, unless your snack budget runs pretty high.

Sprouted nuts from the Phillipines? Huh! It's delicious. No, REALLY!
What the heck is a Peel - ee - nut (Pili)? Close your eyes and plop one in your mouth. Feels cool on the tongue. Bite down and it feels like a soft white chocolate (rather than a hard dark chocolate). It breaks into little pieces immediately. Then, almost dissolved on your tongue like a foam on a head of beer. Then, you begin to taste it, kind of almost no taste at all, then you get a hint of macadamia but not exactly. Then, you squeeze your tongue to the roof of your mouth and you get remnants as if bits of coconut were transported by sleight of hand. Holy smokes what is this? Read on!This is a sprout of something grown in the Phillipines. I conjure up images of an Irish distillery roasting barley over smoke on the expanse of a whiskey barley cellar. I'm sure it doesn't look anything like a whiskey maker's factory. These look like someone (gross warning) pulled fingernails and created some kind of confectionary. It has the color of a light pale almond.Ok, so fool me once...as the saying goes! And this nut is filled to the brim with thiamin, magnesium & manganese. Isn't the USA dirt depleted of magnesium? Are we all magnesium deficient?Holy smokes, is this delicious or what? Buy it. Buy it now. Note that there is only 5 servings to a 5 oz bag...1 oz fits on the center of your palm.

Not for everyone
I'm not a fan. It's difficult to review food because all taste buds are unique. So this is my description of the nuts and why I don't care for them. Hopefully it helps in making a decision on purchasing or not. The texture is NOT that of a "nut". It's soft almost to the point of feeling like if you held it long enough it would melt in your mouth. I want a nut which means a crunch, this ain't it! While you're chewing it, it's like a mouth full of mush, as you can see texture is important for me. Taste is not so bad, a little bland nothing exotic but not nasty or disgusting. Now for the price, it's worth trying it so you can say you did, if I liked the nut I would pay it again. But then that's why I work hard to buy what I want. Just don't expect much for your money. Try to look at the big picture. They say the price allows them to pay the workers decent wages. So for that I think it's worth it, but if it was for taste alone, ABSOLUTELY NOT! WOULD I EVER PAY $15 FOR THE AMOUNT OF NUTS YOU GET. HOPE THIS HELPS☺️

Expensive but so yummy, perfect for keto diet
If you haven't tried these, do! These nuts are buttery and flavorful with a dash of salt. At first taste I wasn't sure I liked them, and for the price I really thought they should have more of a wow factor. But I've been surprised to find I reach for these nuts more than any other in the house! The package suggests keeping them in the fridge to help them last but I find that it does help boost the flavor as well. Their crisp coolness really helps the smooth flavor pop. I've tried other brands and found them bland, waxy or so heavy with the salt you can't taste the nut so I will stick with this brand. Just wish they weren't so pricey.
