great game
My 6 year old often complains about his math homework, so I took a chance on this game, hoping that it would be a way for him to see that doing math can be fun too. He enjoys this game so much, he doesn't even realize that he's doing math! Fun and educational! Great game!

Fun and educational
I have 4 boys, my oldest is 7 (1st grade), 3 of them can play this game in some form. They love to shake the numbers out. My oldest plays the traditional way, in making math problems. My preschooler tries to find matching numbers and sequences, and my other preschooler tries to identify the numbers. It is such a simple game that you can make up your own way to use it and play it.

My son loves it!
My son loves math, so this is the perfect game for him. He loves trying to beat me and often does. I would say it is also a good way to get a child who may not like math, to start to.

Fun math game!
My daughter is in second grade and we love this game! I also love that ad she gets older and learns new math skills we can add more types of math problems into the game. Great learning resource!

FANTASTIC!
I got this game at a great price when I bought it. I use it to math fun a few times a month with my kids during homeschool, but it easily could be just a regular game to play...not just school time. It is very good quality and really adorable. We can't wait to get Head Full of Letters!!! :)

Nice idea, but poor quality...
I bought this game for my 4 year old son, figuring to use the dice and modify the rules and allow the game to grow with him. He loved it. Past tense. Why? Because you can't have a math dice game when you have dice that have no numbers on them. After a few supervised uses of this game the numbers just rubbed off the dice. Now, how do you have a dice game with no numbers?

Fun Math Game
This game kind of reminded me of Boggle, but with math and numbers. One child rolls the dice and the rest of the group have to make as many equations as possible before the time runs out. We then take turns sharing the equations and seeing who is left with the most unique one. What I like is how custom this game is. Children race with the math they know. Also when a few ages are playing together, this game allows children to learn from each other. I have always been a fan of Learning Resources. With this game specifically, I am not sure why, but the quality is all over the place. The head is made from a thick durable material. The dice tray is plastic and flimsy. The dice are not etched in like most. As a reviewer, this was one of the most difficult reviews I had to write. On the one had, I want to give it a 5 star for the game and learning behind it. On the other hand, based on quality alone, I was thinking 1-2 stars because I am not sure how long this game will last. I ended up giving this game a 3 star. Before purchasing this game, you be the judge. Read my review and see what matters best for you. From my perspective, we are happy with the game. I will not be using the dice tray. When the actual dice rub out, we will end up replacing the dice. Overall, anything to encourage children to do math in a fun way is worth the investment.
