Is the coating food grade and fda approved? thank you

Do these paper have any animals derivatives?

As far as I know, no animal derivative

should it be ok to keep one in microwave all the time just to keep the glass plate clean

they are smaller than most microwave plates, but yes, they should be okay as they are parchment paper. However, you would want to replace it pretty much every use--it's not going to absorb liquid spills and things will soak through, so maybe not the most effective, much better to just clean the glass plate (since you'll have to do this if there is any soaking through anyway.
