I'm particular about my grinders having used many different sets over the years. I have some high-end, expensive grinders that I love so I was skeptical as to how these would measure up. I have to say I am surprised by how much I actually like them. They hold a good amount of spice, the design is smart and seemingly well made, they feel good in the hand, and they do an admirable job of grinding salt and pepper of varying coarseness with efficiency. Granted they aren't quite as smooth grinding, or as well made as my high-end grinders, but that is to be expected considering my other grinders cost more than double than what these cost. Overall, I am very happy with them and can heartily recommend them.

I was eager to get these in my hands after I ordered them. We had mediocre grinders in the past that I wasn't a fan of, so for years, we've been going the Costco cheap route with the plastic already filled ones. I was excited to see if these would prove to be more than both of our previous options.To my delight, they are wonderful! I love that they are glass, but happy that they are not overly heavy or cumbersome. I have small hands and they fit nicely in them, kind of perfectly actually. The actual grind is smooth and easy to do. It doesn't require too much effort or force, which I love because I have carpal tunnel. Everything that I've ground through them has come out perfectly. Now I can't wait to try some cocoa nibs or cinnamon chips.

This is a nice set of grinders at a great price. They are a nice comfortable size to hold and operate. They hold a good amount of salt and pepper. Since they sit upright, you do not have salt or pepper leaking out of the bottom and the caps fit securely. The grinding mechanism works nicely and there is a five level adjustment to make them coarser or finer. Overall very pleased with these products at this price point.

I initially was so amazed with the beauty of this product that I bought 2 sets and put the other one on display. The product held up well for less than a year but I was so disappointed when I saw rust on the suppossedly stainless steel surface. Both salt and pepper grinders developed rust but it was more prominent in the salt grinder. Salt started smelling like rust as well so I had to dispose it. Better search for something more durable.

Initially, we liked the shakers. They look great and seemed to work nicely. However, in less than 5 months (of not using them very often) the middle ring in the one we use for salt popped out, making it unusable. I know they aren't the most expensive shakers in the world, but they didn't even last 6 months.Since we are outside of the return window (which I would really just like a replacement for the one) I thought it would be helpful to let other people know to pay attention to their return window in case theirs malfunctions like ours.**UPDATE**The company saw my review and said they guarantee their products and will send a replacement. Really appreciate their excellent customer service!

I really enjoyed these grinders, and I don't want to give it less than 5 stars. However, there is one small (but useful) improvement that should be made to the design. The stainless steel portion of the shaker is the part that you turn to grind the salt or pepper. However, it's really smooth, so when you're cooking in the kitchen and your hands are wet or have some oil on them, it can be difficult to grip the stainless steel portion and spin it. I would still buy this again, despite the part that is occasionally difficult to grip. I mention that just to bring it to the sellers attention, if anything. But overall, I am happy with this product and the ceramic grinding mechanism inside. When you're grinding, it feels higher quality than other similarly priced grinders out there.

Really liked this set, perfect size for under counter. Worked well at first, nice grind very easy to use, very light to lift, however after 5 months the "insides" of the pepper shaker fell into my dinner. Tried to rescrew it together no luck. Emailed company and never received a response. Very disappointed should not break after only 5 months. Would really appreciate if company would respond and replace pepper shaker. I really liked them.

Arrived 28FEB17. Used perhaps five or six times. Pepper grinder broke. The ceramic milling elements are held in by a thin piece of plastic. The ceramic just popped a ring of said plastic out, right into my food LOL Take a pass on this one.

I LOVE how elegant they look and how great they feel in my hand!! I LOVE the adjustable grinding option. This is a fantastic addition to any kitchen! I felt like a fancy utuber cook using them!!
