Bought the round to match a hall runner. Noticed that the pattern on the larger sized rug is bigger that the smaller runner. Like it was enlarged on a printer. Rug is great otherwise. Good color, pattern marches, quality of rug feels good, and it flattened out nicely. No upturned edges to trip on.

I liked this rug more in the picture than in person! While the colors are pretty, not overly bright, more subdued tones (I bought the ivory color) of red and gold, it looks cheaper than the online version. I don’t think this would be good for wiping dirty shoes if used as a doormat as this size is intended for. Since I don’t allow shoes in my house I wanted something that would look good in the entry foyer and didn’t slip either. My issues with the rug is #1 that it came rolled up and would not lay flat when unrolled, but the biggest problem #2 is a ‘wrip’ down the center from one end to the other! This really shows up with the ivory color being the most prominent. I am going to return this rug because of the wrip but I didn’t think it slipped at all when I put it down to check for defects and probably would not need a pad underneath for those who walk normally, i.e. no running on it. **This is an updated review: As I said originally the rug I received was damaged and I wanted to return it to Rug Lots. This is easier said than done! I could return the rug BUT I would have to bring it to a UPS store and go through the hassle of having to get a shipping label, tracking number, pay for postage, and then getting the info to them. I don’t drive and for me to get a taxi to bring me there and back home again would cost more than the rug itself! I caution anyone who buys a rug from this seller to make sure that they plan on keeping it! I don’t think the rug was damaged in the shipping but before it was sent. The tear is in the center of the rug and runs from side to side - it looks as though something very tight was wrapped around it and caused the permanent wrip/indentation. Buyer beware!
