Love love love this. Putting it together took all of 30 seconds. Set up in the car was also a breeze, I especially love the added safety of the tension belt clip ins to the seat of the vehicle like a “regular” car seat to keep it extra sturdy. I wish it felt as “sturdy” built as Graco especially for the price, but overall extremely happy with the quality, ease, and safety features of the booster!

Did my research on this one and decided to order it. Received this yesterday 2/19/26 and I am very pleased with its quality and ease of assembly/ installations . My granddaughter says it very comfortable and makes her feel safe. Thanks Chicco for living up to quality standards!

The fact this seat took me 3 minutes to 'put together' and then another 5 min to (effortlessly) install securely in my car the first time I did it (now it takes maybe 3 min) ... is a GOD SEND!!! The REAL Latch capability (vs those 'clips' with straps that simply don't work (for me)) snap in and tighten with little effort and are loosened and removed again with little effort. The seat belt guides work perfectly for my car. The cup holders (that fold into themselves which is great as the one on the door side doesn't work well in my car) are also easy to snap on and the seat back actually snaps EASILY onto the booster seat itself, and has a little clamp type thing you can left to set the seat back angle or remove it altogether (again, easily!!) .... We are not (yet) going to use this as our full time car seat for our 5+ old, but we will be using it for travel / rental cars / care-takers cars etc... so simplicity of safe installation and ease of removal is of HUGE importance for us... this seat checks all the boxes (In addition to being easy to safely install, it seems comfy, well padded, not too wide or huge, and still relatively light!) By comparison, I purchased another brand, of a similar belt positioning high back booster, and it took me 30 minutes just to attach the back to the seat! It involved me full on jumping on top of the place where the seat back and booster meet, just to make it 'snap' into place on the booster portion)... and then another 20 minutes struggling to install it in my car, using those crappy black 'latch' clips... I never felt it was secure, so I promptly removed it and unceremoniously chucked it across the front lawn in frustration... that seat will be returned.... and the 'impossible seat' was only $20 less than the KidFit standard version of this Chicco (I just went for the nicer fabric because we live in a hot climate).... so believe me... that $20 savings was not worth the time, effort, and potentially unsafe installation that the 'cheaper' seat gave... You get what you pay for, and sometimes you just gotta pony up. (I know that is super privileged of me, but given this seat will be used for your 40-100lb kiddo, it should be around for a while and worth the investment to buy something you will not hate every time you need to move it!)

I’ve been using the Chicco KidFit ClearTex Plus booster for a while now, and it’s been a great choice for my child. I really like that it can be used both as a high-back booster and later as a backless booster, which makes it very practical as kids grow. The seat feels sturdy and well made, and my child seems comfortable even on longer car rides. The fit in the car was secure, and adjusting it was straightforward. I also appreciate the materials used—it gives peace of mind knowing it’s designed with safety and comfort in mind. It does take a little time to set it up the first time, but once installed, it’s easy to use. Overall, this booster seat has worked very well for us, and I would definitely recommend it to other parents.

I had to replace a Diono Rainer 3-in-1 seat that didn’t last the full life cycle it promised (my small 8yo outgrew the booster that was supposed to last till he was much taller and heavier due to the headpiece hitting his shoulders). In any case, I reluctantly searched for another high-back booster seat that would be as comfortable as the Diono had been. I found this one in Target along with a Graco seat and decided that this one had far better padding than the Graco seat. It was the same price at Target, but since I had credit on Amazon, I bought it here. It arrived quickly and was easy to install. My son says it’s a great seat. He likes the cupholders and can now put his own seatbelt on, whereas the poor design of Diono’s booster mode made it impossible for him to buckle himself in. The seat isn’t as rock-solid as the Diono was, but the design is much better for a booster seat for older kids. It’s also not as heavy (because it’s not made of steel), so it’s much easier to move if needed. The only initial con was that in our car (a Hyundai Santa Fe), this seat couldn’t be placed in the middle of the back seat where the Diono had been. That wasn’t a deal-breaker, though, and now that we’ve had it a while, I actually like having the seat on one side because if there’s only one other back seat passenger, they don’t have to squish themselves next to a car seat now. (My son just had to get used to the change.)

Something definitely worth noting about this booster is the minimum height requirement; the Amazon listing says 38” but according to the user manual it is actually 44”. I did check the manufacturers website after purchasing and saw that it’s the same for all models of the kidfit line. Putting this booster together out of the box was very simple and took only a few minutes. The installation was a breeze and feels pretty secure in my Toyota Highlander, although I do wish there was a top tether available as the seat does rock side to side at the top. This is my first time using a booster rather than a car seat though so maybe that’s normal(?) other than that my boujie kiddo says it’s comfortable and she loves the fact that she has footrest and storage box for her treasures/snacks.

This model is very easy to assemble. Installation in the car and removal is simple and quick. The LATCH (ISOFIX) system helps to keep the seat in place when it's not in use. The car's head rest can interfere with the back of this car seat. I had to remove the car's head rest to install this. The foam padding is very good. The overall dimensions are just right. There is a large variation in price depending on the seller. I wouldn't recommend paying more than 15k.

Very good chair, the only problem is that it doesn’t have an attached seat belt on the chair, if your baby is very naughty cant trust on the car seatbelt

Mi hija tiene 3 años usando este asiento, es cómodo y me encanta porque puedes regular la altura, la protección que trae para la cabeza es justo lo que necesitas, ya que cuando se queda dormida puede recargar la cabeza y evitas que tenga mala postura y dolor de cuello al terminar el viaje, es fácil de lavar y la tela es duradera. Al ser un asiento para niños más grandes ya no trae inclinación para dormir. Mi auto es muy viejo y el sistema de anclaje ha sido muy bueno. Lo puedo ajustar y no se mueve. Mi hija ahora tiene 8 años y nos encanta, pronto tendremos que decirle adiós. Pero por el momento lo seguiremos disfrutando

esto es ideal para el niño que todavia no le queda bien el cinturon de seguridad pero ya no quiere estar en silla de niños. comoda, facil de lavar y poner y quitar

El asiento es perfecto para mi bebe de año y medio, lo compre para un segundo auto y me ha funcionado Super bien y resistente. Lo complemente con un reductor de cinturón y esta excelente.
