Problem solver. A Pressure Cooker and Pressure CANNER must have set of gloves.
*UPDATE* 6/2024 I’ve been using these for 4 years and they’re still my favorite and in great condition. I now think they are also a must have for pressure canning. I can reach into my small pressure canner and grab the boiling hot wide mouth jars much easier than with my jar lifter. I’m now raising my star level from ⭐️⭐️⭐️ to a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. I still wish Cuisinart also offered a larger size.*10/2020 I’ve used them for a few months now and I really like them. But they fit me a bit more snug than I’d like. These are way too small for my Mr’s hands. Ours did not arrive with defects as others have mentioned. I wanted a pair of silicone gloves because my silicone mitts were not giving me the control nor heat protection. I want to reach down into the Instant Pot and flip my whole chicken. These are awesome for that. Then I toss them in the washer. They work great for the oven, too. I only wish they were a bit bigger.

Fits like a glove, for most...
This is a really good glove. I was worried about heat resistance given the thiness of the glove, but it holds up very well. The grip is also good for handling enameled cookware. It is not easily flexible and can be awkward at first.Make sure it will fit your hand, as it is not very large. On the flip side my girlfriend thinks they are too big and difficult to use.

Easy to clean
Got them to replace a pair of Hot Hands that tore between the thumb, causing my hand to burn while taking a cookie sheet from the oven. Same concept as those, a textured rubber glove that’s heat resistant, unlined, and very easy to clean. These are cut small and short, which means less protection past wrists, if using to reach into a hot pot. Good everyday gloves for getting sheet pans out of the oven or draining pasta. I have no doubt that these will eventually tear between the fingers from heat, with regular use. There’s no textured barrier there to prevent it, so I will replace as needed.

Great gloves only if completely intact.
I like the concept of these gloves and I was excited that they did the trick for the new stove and oven that was just put in FIVE DAYS ago. I bought them after I bought a new carbon steel wok, because, when I finally got the nerve to season it, on my old stove, PROPERLY, I found that my hand was in danger of contact with the metal sleeve around the wooden handle. I was wearing heavy leather, elbow length gloves to do the initial job. So, I figured I would get some silicone gloves, because, my NEW stove was going to be installed on 5/25/21. I was hoping the new WOK ring I bought for it would fit. By the time they finished installing it, it was too late to cook. The WOK ring fit. So, I used ONE of these new silicone gloves on 5/26/21. Worked beautifully! My new oven came with a pizza stone. The ONE GLOVE worked great, to get pizza on and off the stone, without a pizza paddle, on 5/27/21. On 5/28/21, the ONE GLOVE worked great to take out the pan I used in the new oven to try out the convection feature. Now, yesterday, on 5/29/21, I wanted to try out the bake feature on my new oven. When it was time to get the HOT roaster OUT of the HOT oven and move it over to the counter, I needed to use TWO GLOVES. So, knowing the glove worked, I put on TWO gloved and reached in to remove the roaster from the oven. When I bent my fingers on my right hand to grab onto the HOT pan on the right side, I saw something pink. So, I stopped, thinking that there may have been a sticker or something, still on the glove. When I retracted my hand and looked, I saw nothing. I went to grab the pan again, and, again, saw something pink flashing at me. I stopped and looked at the glove again. Didn't see anything. So, I made the same "gripping motion" in thin air and watched. I watched my THUMB come out of a 1 inch slit at the seam of the glove!!!!!! If my skin colour was not pale pink, if my skin was a lot darker, I may not have seen that "flash of pink" when I was reaching for the pan, and, if I'd grabbed a heavy, 400° roaster and pulled it out, I would probably have had more than crispy chicken skin sticking to the pan. So, buyer beware on this product as it could have been a big injury to my hand, and, I'm sure, when I dropped the pan with 400° chicken fat in it, I would have had burns on my legs. So, I really don't know if the ONE GLOVE arrived damaged and I was just lucky enough to have grabbed the SAME undamaged, glove, each time I used it, and, this damaged glove wasn't worn yet. Or, was this the glove that I had used THREE times over three days and they are already damaged. I hope this review is posted because, because, if it isn't, then, that would be a potential for somebody to not notice their skin being exposed through a damaged glove. I don't believe I would give these as a gift, because I don't want the responsibility for somebody getting burnt.

Good
I really liked these gloves. The individual fingers make it feel like I can grip a hot pan tighter than a traditional oven mitt, plus it’s easier to clean if I get some hot grease on it. The price was reasonable too. I think I will get a pair for my parents as well.

Ouch!! That’s hot!!! They don’t work at all…
These things don’t work at all. Burnt my thumb and forefinger 1st time I used them, and it was just over indirect heat. They are also very restrictive and don’t allow for using your fingers very well. If only I could put in print the words I used when I burnt my fingers on the 1st use. Save your money, an ordinary kitchen hot pad is a better option than these things. Also black?? Set them in the Sun for just a minute and they are too hot to put your hand in from the start!! Who dreams up stuff like this? They don’t work!! At all…

One of the best TIG welding gloves out there
I had been looking for a nomex/kevlar glove with almost a full coating of silicone. This is close to perfect.Handles smaller filler rod easily; grip on torch is great.I normally wear large in most glove configurations and this is somewhat tight. And a first, some but not all of the finger tips are sewn attaching the inner cotton liner to the fire resistant outer shell. So the liner doesn't pull out when removing the glove from your hand.

Do what they're supposed to do, but major drawback
As far as heat resistance and cleanability after handling hot food (pulling meat out of smoker), they do exactly what they need to do. The major drawback though, no liner inside at all makes them extremely difficult to take off your hands! You literally have to grab at the wrist and peel off in an inside out manner because they cling to your hands big time. I will end up buying something else and would not recommend these for that reason.
