Bought as a gift, but have done these models before and they generally are great quality and fun to build.

This was both fun and nerve wracking to do! I have done some of these before so I knew what I was getting into, this is the first I've managed to complete without breaking however so I'm very proud of myself. With that said, there were some points I was biting my nails thinking is this the bit that's going to snap? So my advice for anyone wanting to do one of these, patience is the key above all else. You need to be very gentle to tease the pieces out of the wood and most importantly, the majority of the pieces don't actually fit into the notches that well (perhaps they do but I was too scared to force them into it) but it does come with a small piece of sanding paper and this will be your best friend throughout! For example, you have a piece that has 2 notches on it, you should sand each side of the notches (4 bits in total) and start off only running the sand paper 3-4 times on each side of the notch. Never ever try to force the bits and always push them in holding the most structurally sound part. The instructions are quite clear but you may come across a couple of areas that make you scratch your head, but it's mostly fine. You do need to make sure you read it properly though! There's a couple of times I scanned it and saw I needed (for example) A1x3 and I ended up taking A3 pieces which looked similar then wondered why I was missing a few bits. As for spares, there's a few fragile pieces that have some but it's very limited. I did manage to get through it without breaking a single bit. As for a suggestion, it starts you off building 6 little spires. Those bits aren't needed until the very last thing to go on, so I would actually skip making those until the end otherwise you'll have them laying around with the potential to lose them. Lastly, tweezers! Make sure you have tweezers! I don't know how long it took me, I estimate around 4 hours perhaps. I spent an hour here and there over a few days going at a leisurely pace. I really enjoyed it however! The presentation is nice, you get a manual, screwdriver and little bit of sandpaper. There are NO batteries. You will need 3x LR44. They are quite cheap. At £15.99 I think this is great value for money. I felt great after completing it!

Very satisfying building it. Some pieces are very fragile, some have spare ones but not all of them, I didn’t break any but got close. Very nice piece.

Great Xmas present for grandson

Precisely designed that each piece fitting perfectly into its position. The scale is a bit small but god enough. The end product is elegant. Instruction is clear too.

This is very fragile and requires carefull assembly , press fits are difficult and can lead to breakage.

Decent quality and seems pretty sturdy. Good size for the money.

Die Teile sind zwar zerbrechlich aber lassen sich sehr gut und leicht herausbrechen. Es macht Spaß es Stück für Stück zusammen zu basteln und ist schön anzusehen wenn es fertig is. Die Anleitung zum Aufbau ist auch sehr verständlich, detailliert aufgeführt. Gerade die Beleuchtung gibt dem letzten Schliff. Wird nich das letzte Modell sein das ich mir kaufe. Kann es nur weiterempfehlen!

Ik heb dit item in afgelopen maart gekocht, bij Amazon, en deze week in elkaar gezet. Ik zag bij diverse reviews wat zaken, die mij bij 'mijn versie' niet direct opgevallen waren: zoals bijvoorbeeld het ontbreken van batterij(en)? Of items die niet in de doos zouden zitten, oftewel ontbraken of teveel. Zoals ik het pakket heb ontvangen, staat er op de doos dat de moeilijkheidscategorie 1,5 ster is. Terwijl ik op verschillende websites, of ook bij Amazon, nu dozen zie waarop 3 sterren vermeld staat: terwijl de zogenaamde EAN code precies hetzelfde is. (hierover heb ik trouwens een rechtstreekse vraag aan ROBOTIME gesteld, waarop ik wellicht dan nog antwoord ga krijgen). # Ik heb in elk geval een batterij in pakket ontvangen (zie foto) en deze is direct gekoppeld aan het lichtsnoer. # Er zit geen Nederlandse beschrijving bij, maar een hoop wijst zichzelf eigenlijk. # Ik vroeg me wel af wat, in het Duits in beschrijving, papier printplaat inhield: dit is kunststof (van soort melkglas-achtige 'transparantie') deel P3, wat bestaat uit 2 stuks E1 & E2 wat in de torens binnenin geplaatst wordt. # Het totaalpakket is een dunnere versie platen, waarbij je subtiel met de zaken om moet gaan. Omdat ik al enige ervaring heb met de 3D puzzels, heb ik inmiddels ook pincetten en scalpelmesjes aangeschaft. En houten hulpstukken van eerdere modellen bewaard: om delen uit de platen te drukken. # Het laatste item, 8 stuks D12, vond ik het meest kwetsbaar. Gelukkig 2 reserve, waarvan ik er toch 1 heb moeten gebruiken. # Ik heb ook ergens, terwijl dat in principe met de puzzels niet hoeft, op enkele plaatsen wat secondenlijm gebruikt: zodat de boel even net wat beter op zijn plek blijft. # Ik heb geen 5 sterren gegeven, omdat het leek alsof de verlichting het 'altijd zou kunnen doen'. Toen ik verder keek, bleek dat ik (voor mijn pakket) nog een USB-C kabel nodig heb om dat te kunnen realiseren. Dus nog wat kleine kosten maken om inderdaad verlicht te krijgen. # Verder vind ik dat de prijs € 15,99 misschien iets minder had mogen zijn: omdat ik gedacht had er langer mee bezig te kunnen zijn. Maar aan de andere kant vind ik het model uiteindelijk wel leuk op mijn plank staan (zie foto). Ik heb ook tegelijk met mijn bestelling de Big Ben besteld, dus misschien (hoop ik tenminste) werkt het principe van verlichting wel hetzelfde. Ondanks dat ik redelijk grote handen en vingers heb, blijft het een kwestie om met vooral geduld en beleid te puzzelen. Na de eerste paar modellen heb ik ook nog telkens een soort van timer gezet: in principe maximaal 60-75 minuten puzzelen en dan weg leggen/zetten. Of bijvoorbeeld voor 1 moeilijk, diverse losse items, in elkaar gezet onderdeel 30 minuten nemen. Ik blijf het een leuke hobby vinden, met misschien ook nog een soort van wensenlijst in gedachten.

Me ha parecido un buen reto de montaje; requiere paciencia y tiempo pero el proceso es muy divertido para hacer en pareja. Las piezas encajan bien. Una vez terminado, queda muy bonito como decoración en cualquier lugar. Muy recomendable por mí parte
