Very flavorful smoke for old fashions. Apple is my favorite, cherry is also very good.

Wood chips are very fine so when you’re burning them to get them lit the chips as hot embers start flying all over. They work fine once lit but embers flying around isn’t so good. Not sure if they were cut that way or scooped off of the floor like that. I have another brand and the chips are more chunky they burn well.

My whiskey journey has really expanded with the addition of smoking and these chips are high quality.

Chips do not burn/smoke well at all. They are also very small and so hot embers can fly all over the place and also sneak through the smoker and I to your drink. Would not recommend.

Product came nicely packaged and labeled in secured tins with screw caps. The shred of the wood chips makes it useable in just about any smoker and it makes it easy to ignite and smolder. I have tried all four and although they all have their uniqueness, I am most pleased with the hickory and cherry. I will say that I have had other chips that have added more 'flavor' but these are a good go to.
