STG-1BLK110V EZ Spa-2-Go 4 Person Inflatable Spa

Originally, I purchased the Coleman Lazy Spa. I really liked it, but I had problems with the pump. First the filters weren't working, so the company had to go through the process of replacing the pump (which required me to cut up the pump cords, send them a picture of the cut up cords, and then they sent me another pump). That wasn't the problem, apparently it was the spa itself and they wanted me to go through their process to send me another spa (which required me to CUT out a portion of the spa wall, send them pictures, and then they would have sent me a new spa, without the pump). Having wasted two full weeks of getting the brand new spa in working order, I re-reviewed the Coleman Lazy Spa reviews and saw many of the problems I was having, so I decided to just return it to Amazon (which you can do within 30 days).I REALLY wanted a spa, and specifically an inflatable, so I kept hunting and reading and researching. The Comfort Line EZ Spa-2-Go was double what I paid for the Coleman, but after that experience, I noticed some pretty important differences that made this purchase much more sound:Note: The coleman spa is not made by Coleman at all. It's actually made by and warranted by Bestway - same design, same features, same functionality with a different brand. If you call for help, support, or warranty issues, you will not be calling Coleman at all - this kinda pissed me off.Ok, so here goes:1. The pump and filter are one component and everything is on the outside of the unit and there is just one large filter, whereas the Coleman spa has 2 small, round filters inside the spa and you can't sit in those spots - they take up 2 comfortable seats along the spa wall because they jut out about 5 inches. The Comfort Line's pump's configuration just makes more sense as it pertains to water flow. It's not snazzy and bullet shaped, but I believe it's a better design.2. The Comfort Line has 3 individual air compartments, which makes the spa walls tubular instead of flat. It's really neat. Plus, if there's ever a puncture, there's only one wall to fix.3. The Comfort Line has a cushioned 'floor', so you don't feel the ground underneath, whereas the Coleman spa says the floor is cushioned but, if it truly is, which I doubt, you can't feel it - the Comfort Line is quite comfy - the cushion floor is bouncy.4. The Comfort Line cover is 2 separate parts: an inflatable circle, which serves as insulation, that fits inside top of the spa and a separate waterproof cloth-like cover which can be used with the inflatable circle. You can use one or both.5. The exterior of the spa (black) is actually a separate waterproof cloth-like material that fits the actual spa - again - 2 separate components.6. The Comfort Line is NOT nasty green with the big Coleman logo on it. It's just black and it's much much more elegant than the green thing.7. The air bubbles in the Comfort Line come from bottom ring of the spa wall, which hits the bottom of one's back, whereas the Coleman bubbles come from the very bottom of the flat spa floor, which pretty much just makes pretty bubbles that tickle your tush.8. I believe the volume of water in both products is 250 gallons, but the Comfort Line's spa 5 more inches in diameter (inflated) than the Coleman.9. The Comfort Line controls are very basic: temperature up or down, air on or off. There's not even a filter off control - the filter runs always, which is fine by me. The Coleman spa has very cool looking buttons and apparently will show error codes when there's a problem - but when I was having my problems - there were no error codes. I'm fine with basic - basic means less headaches.10. Last but not least, and I was impressed after having what appeared to be a flyer for instructions for the Coleman, this product had an actual book! Like a whole 8x11.5 book.I'll be back to write more on this great product when I've had a few more weeks playing in it. Cool in the summer and toasty in the cold.
