A dog trainer I worked with gave this to his bite k-9 dogs. It was said to be quality but reasonably priced. So I’ve been giving it to my active redbone coon hound who’s a 3 year old male and Intact. I figured he would benefit from this high protein variety that has 4 different animal proteins. He really loves the taste! It does not smell like average dog food. It actually smells like fresh raw meat (not great to me) but great to him! The kibbles are small so I think good for digestion. We also add in wet food, real meat and oils or grease to his evening meal. Sometimes just a bit of kibble in the morning but he primarily eats one good meal a day. I’m lucky that a farm and pet store up the road sells this. Unfortunately the chain pet stores don’t sell this and I wish they did, and they should. Luckily Amazon sells a variety of bag sizes and I’m sure you could also get it from chewy. I definitely suggest this if you want to feed your dog a quality food with less filler.EDIT: Pet supplies plus (chain pet store) also sells this

This would be a five star view, except I received my package ripped in the hole was just covered with tape. But overall, I have really loved this product as all of my dogs have really enjoyed and eating a ton of it. I think for the size and the quality of dog food this is a great product.

This is very high quality dog food. My dog loves to eat it compared to her old cheaper dog food I used to give her. And something that I’ve noticed about this higher quality dog food is that, although the price point is higher, she needs of it. It sounds confusing but with the cheaper brands I had to feed her a high amount because most of that kibble was just fillers so she wasn’t getting the proper amount of nutrients and she was always seeming hungry no matter how much I fed her.When I started feeding her Victor, I noticed quickly she ate much less in a feeding and was not acting hungry all day either!So folks. Remember you get what you pay for and this counts under that moto!

This is the only dry food I will feed my dogs. We mix it with our own topper..
