I carry my Bible with me all the time. I keep it in my backpack. Not only is it getting worn out by actual use, it was getting beat up by the other things in my backpack so I got this cover to protect it.I measured my Bible before purchasing this cover. My Bible measured 9" x 5.5" x 1.25". According to the Amazon post this cover in size medium fits Bibles up to 9" x 6" x 1.75" which, as you can see, is slightly bigger than my Bible. My Bible fit perfectly in the cover, so the measurements that the seller gives in the Amazon post are accurate. The cover is not too big or not too small for my Bible, which is a soft cover Zondervan Amplified Classic Bible printed in 1987.It has a zipper all around to close and a zippered pocked on the front cover. It also has a carry handle on the spine and a loop for a pen inside the front cover. I can slide a small notebook and other things in there to carry if I need to. It protects my Bible from getting more beat up than normal when I carry it in my backpack. It seems sturdy enough for normal use and doesn't add any significant weight. The shipping was quick as well. An overall great purchase.

As a pastor, my Bible gets a lot of wear and tear. In the past, I would buy leather covers, but I noticed my wife's canvass Bible cover (which is well over twenty years old) looks like new. So I decided to take the plunge into the world of less-elegant but more practical canvass covers, and purchased this one.I am well-please, my only complaint is that the handle is a little thin and may not endure as long as the rest of the cover. But, then again it may --- and if it should tear, it can be easily sewn. So go for it. I hope it will give me a good twenty years -- that is, if I have a good twenty years!

I always carry a book around and go from book tote to book tote and hate carrying around so many bags......I purchased one of these for my Bible for when I want to read it and not advertise to everyone around me that I am reading a Bible.....and one day when I wasn't using my Kindle Paperwhite and had an old fashioned book in my hand...I thought how convenient it would be to use this cover for my book and it works great. I ordered two sizes, Medium and Small. The medium size is perfect for hard cover Steven King size books and the small is great for regular paperbacks (not mass market paperbacks - those would be too small). The dimensions given in the description are correct and what I used to choose the sizes I needed. I also have an Aluratek LED bookmark that is flat and fits perfectly in the front pocket or inside the book itself. (Great rechargeable bookmark!). I am very pleased with these covers and use them on a daily basis. They have a handle on the spine that makes carrying it around very easy....just make sure you have zipped it shut or your bookmark or even book could fall out!!

After several attempts with other bible covers that I had to struggle and SQUEEZE my ESV study bible into - this one actually delivered with ample room. Feels quality as well. Would have been nice if it had an inside storage pocket- but it does have an external pocket. Very pleased.

Fits my bible perfect! I was worried it would be to small, I have your standard bible. The dimionsions were correct for the size, I believe it was 6w x 8h or somewhere in between those numbers. Been looking for a bible cover for few months and finally found the right size

I use it to keep the owner's manual (which is quite thick) and other paperwork for my Toyota Highlander in the glove box - and this holds everything nicely and easily fits in the glove box. I am very satisfied with it and I am quite happy with the quality and value for what I paid.

I had a bible case like this when i was younger and liked it. I wanted one for my study bible, so i bought this one. it is almost identical to the case i used to have except the handle is different, the one on my old case was flat and felt good to hold, this case has a rounded fabric handle that does not feel good in the hand at all. I think somewhere along the line they cheeped out and in order to save a very small amount of fabric they changed the design.
