Is not difficult to unwind. Duct tape is so sticky I can hardly get it unwound to use.

I bought this tape a few months ago. I wanted to give a good test at several venues before I reviewed. I was really expecting it to not work well, but it has surprised me. The adhesion is a little less than the name brand gaffers tape, but it has gotten the job done, without me spending $20 a roll. I have used it on concrete, wood and carpet. It held my cables down comparable to the name brand stuff. I'm definitely buying again.

When I'm using gaffer's tape that I approve of (Grainger items), as soon as you make a tear across the tape, it is a smooth tear across the fabric. On this one, it looks like the glue side (bottom part) and the non-sticky side (top part) are two totally different things that are they're laminated together. Laminated together so poorly, so that when you rip across the fabric, the top laminate tears off in a jagged fashion not as uniform as the bottom portion. On professional Gaffer's tape, white, black, or whatever color you're tearing the fabric seems to nit have a laminate on top to mask the gluey adhesive side. It is all one and it tears all together. I would not recommend this product if this is important to you. I successfully returned my product months ago, was refunded and I am still in the market for a decent brand that I can rely on to function well and be attractive in appearance. I did not get to test the adhesive portion of this tape, due to it failing in the rip test.

Bought this for a costume and it worked great! Not as sticky as duct tape and it was easy to reapply to my costume- and it didn’t leave behind any glue residue!

Gaffers tape feels heavy duty and holds up well. It stays where you put it, you can leave it there for weeks, and it doesn't leave any resin behind when you pull it up.

Good quality. Easy to apply and remove. Adhesive stuck and secured in place but was able to remove without leaving glue residue.

Pretty much crap. Better to spend the money on real Gaff tape. If you’re not a professional, this “may” do.
