BEST cat tree I ever bought ! I have a big group of large cats, so I have bought many cat trees. All of them have been disappointing because the bases were not big thus stability was not good. Perches were also small. All have ended up in the garbage.I searched on Amazon for a new tree and used the words "cat tree large cats" and this one came up. It is what a cat tree should be, and you can tell whoever designed it knows cats and is very intelligent as the tree is magnificently engineered!1. Parts well labeled. Assembly logical in directions. Put together with no confusion in about 10 minutes or less. (The only aggravation was my cats began jumping on the tree before it was finished ;-)2. Base is wide, thus allowing great stability! A strap is attached and screw with plastic thing is included to anchor to wall for top notch security against toppling. I don't see this falling over and since I don't know if I want to move it I have not anchored it to the wall yet. I have big cats jumping on it at the same time and it does not even wobble.3. Two perches are extra large nd are superior to other trees I've bought. The entire cat fits on these well cushioned perches with room to spare. They look very comfortable. (I cover mine with smsll blankets to guard against hair ball pukes)4. The box area is a favorite among my cats, they love to hide away in that part.5. Extremely well designed! If you are reading this do not bother looking any further! This is the cat tree you should get. I'm going to get another one soon!

I am so impressed with this perch! I have bought several kinds and styles over the years and with different cats and I have to say this is one of the best!! Very sturdy, super easy to put together - if you follow the instructions which are super simple. Took just about 20 minutes to completely assemble by myself. lots of flexibility in this perch too. We didn't want a really tall one, we are torn between needing it tall enough for them to lay and look out the window but not tall enough for the cats to chew up our blinds! So, I chose not to put on the 2nd "bed" that was taller. I am saving those parts so that we can change the beds out if/when it gets too worn.The material is super soft and nicer than the usual carpet style we have had. My cats immediately took it over investigating and playing. I know it will be their favorite place soon. I love all the options they have to lounge on it - inside and on top of the "house" box, on the bed, on the ledges, they have not yet tried the hammock. I am super thrilled!I have had Maine Coon cats in the past and the boy and girl we have now are not quite that big, but they are still bigger cats. Our boy is very tall. They can both lay everywhere including the bed without looking like they are cramped or about to pop out :-) We have a smaller perch that they have already outgrown. This one is perfect for the larger cats and even the "house" box was big enough for them both to get into! One in it had plenty of extra room to not look scrunched. I was hesitant but now so thrilled to have chosen this perch!

When this cat-tree first showed up at my door I was worried because the box seemed rather small and my cat is rather big. However, once I got this thing together I was quite impressed with the finished product. It only took about 20 minutes to assemble, and that's only because I put the big cat-house-level platform on the wrong way at first. Pay attention to where the drill holes are and how they are oriented to avoid construction delays! Other than that, this thing was a breeze to put together and only requires an Allen key (which is included).For those who are worried about the tree's size and stability, be assured that my 12 lb. cat fits on any section quite comfortably and without any wobble or signs of instability. I was able to actually sit on the second level myself without any issues (I'm 6 ft / 185 lbs), so this thing is quite solid. The carpet is super soft, the platforms have nice cushy padding under them, and it's a neutral dark grey color that blends in well. The overall size is big enough to give my cat lots of climbing room and overlooks to survey her kingdom, but not so big as to take up half the living room. The hanging ball toys are a big hit with my kitty.Buy it! You won't regret it and your feline friend will love you for it. Compared to the extortionate Pets-Mart/Co prices this tree is the deal of the century! (Those highway robbers would probably charge $200 for this thing)

My cats are 7 years old (fair in weight- not too chunky, maybe a little baby fat so im not sure for bigger cats fit) and they fit on it very well. It is very sturdy for them, only part that is slightly wobbly (physics-like wobbly. not weak type wobbly if that makes sense) are the two top beds held by the singular pole.Assembly requires an additional hand. Directions were a little confusing at first, simply because it is very detailed on putting together but if you read it, maybe use a youtube video to help, its not hard. I wasnt really counting the time, but I'd estimate it took 30-45minutes to hour max to set up. Simply because theres a lot of pieces and was ensuring things were secure while building it. All tools were included to assemble, nothing additional needed. Everything came in the mail in brand-new condition.Only thing that is "small" for the adults cats is the mini hammock on the bottom. Simply because its not long enough to comftorable hold them. But besides that, they fit everywhere else.My one cat is in love with the little house.OVERALL- I am very please with the house for it fits adult cats at a decent price, material is well made and furr part is soft. I recommend this product.
