Moen 5207-181CH Donner Commercial 18-Inch Towel Bar with Shelf, Chrome

I've gotten this to replace my old bar-only towel hanger for my bathroom.It's very sturdy. Comes with two different types of wall anchors to use depending on the wall types.They decided that, since it's quite foolproof and is designed for professionals, it didn't need to come with instructions. In my opinion, everything should come with instructions--I like to do everything by the books, and experienced or not, it helps me with not accidentally skipping a step or two in installations.Gripes about lack of manual aside, I must say I like it. It's as basic as it gets in terms of design, but it's got 4 anchors, and all hardware (aside from one of the wall anchor sets) is metal.The only downside is that it's incredibly basic--the design just screams "contractor grade." In its defense, it IS from their commercial line, which I was actually looking for. So maybe that's not a downside after all.Recommended.

I LOVE this shelf! Even if the price had been higher, it would be a great value. It looks great, is sturdier than I'd thought it would be. I could easily put detergent on it if I chose, my bathroom shares a laundry area where the Tub is. But for towels it is indeed ideal. Clean looking. It came with No directions, however I easily determine where the four assembly screws attached pipe-bar to wall plate, and I used the included conical plastic anchors, picked an appropriately sized drill, and the entire shelf was assembled and installed within 15 minutes. Tools I used: cordless drill, drill bits, hammer to tap plastic anchors into hole. I held the assembled unit against the wall and marked the four (4) mount hole locations. predrilled. tapped in anchors, used a cordless screwdriver to screw the shelf up. It looks great and holds he towels perfectly. I do highly recommend this unit. I am not at all a handy person, however, even I was able to easily assemble and mount it in a very small amount of time. You cannot stand on this, but for any towel use it's perfect.

I bought this about 2 months ago because I was sprucing up the guest bathroom in anticipation of house guests. I wanted the bathroom to have a hotel feel to it, and this definitely plays its part! (I had to really work hard to fold my towels neatly enough to mimic the hotel look, and I didn't quite get it right, but it wasn't due to the shelf, but due to my poor folding skills.) It looks awesome! It's bigger than it looks in the picture, and quite heavy. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because it didn't come with instructions and because I haven't had it long enough to know if it will rust quickly. I printed out the PDF instructions from the internet (MFR website, click on parts & support, then enter model number) but they were just pictures, no words. But I'm pretty handy around the house, so I was able to figure out what to do with just the pictures alone. However, I can see how someone who is not used to doing any installation would be confused - especially since you have to install the mounting plates to the shelf BEFORE mounting the shelf to the wall - that threw me off. I also had to purchase different screws because my desired mounting location did not have studs behind it. My guests complimented me on the shelf and I'm really proud of it, so even though there are other shelves like this for less money that I was considering, I'm happy I got this one!

It does exactly what I need. Sends well - constructed (a problem with some others according to reviews). Does not seem flimsy at all. I don't suggest using it as a chin - up bar, but it is sturdy. The finish is chrome, which was not my first choice, but it looks like it will last.Installation was reasonably easy, but this off course depends on the wall you hang it on. Mine is old, solid ceramic tile, and I did need anchors, which I think were provided.

I got the Moen Commercial 24" towel bar with shelf to accommodate guests visiting for the spring. It looks very classy similar to what you see at hotels. The installation was super easy--I hung it myself! I particularly like how the unit allows you to store two sets of folded towels at the top as well as have extra space for hand towels at the bottom. I've had this for some time now and even though the bathroom does fog up (weird that we don't have windows in the bath), the finish has held up without any problems. Really pleased with the purchase.

very solid and strong. can hold a lot of weight. The item is also nicely packaged at the factory with ample padding so it stays scratch and dent free regardless of getting knocked about by the UPS folks. Easy to install. Seems a bit flimsy before installing but is very sturdy and nice looking once installed. Large enough to easily hold bath size folded towels on top. Very happy with my purchase. Received it very quickly.

Bought this rack for my condo's bathroom and, if you live in a modern condo you know that the space is at premium.I've always wanted to have a hotel towel bar and this towel shelf fitted nicely and takes very little space overall.The build quality is top notch and should last you a long time. Even though it didn't come with any installation manuals the install itself went very well. The included hardware was enough.Highly recommend to anyone who likes that type of shelf:it saves space and looks great doing it!

This hasn’t come with any instructions. I figured out how to assemble it although instructions would have been nice. In any case, it looks great and I’m happy with the quality.

I purchased this item back in 2014 for one of the bathrooms in our house and just loved it! We have since sold our house to move to another province and we are renovating one of the bathrooms in our new condo and I have just purchased this very same one! I love that it holds luxury spa size towels on the top and still room for an extra tissue box and a couple of decorative candles! I love this rack with it's rounded corners which looks more appealing to me than the ones with sharp corners. Definitely recommend this one and I always trust Moen for it's quality products and also got a great price for both purchases!

This towel rack if very nice looking and fits perfect in a small washroom. easy to install and seems sturdy on the wall. gives your washroom that hotel look.
