Great quality
Love this mat. Very comfortable for the yoga sessions.

Not non-slip
It’s not non-slip mat. Although I tried 24 hours under sun with sea salt it’s still slippery, I got very cheap one and I’m back to it

I resisted Manduka mats for some time because I wanted to support Aurorae Yoga mats. But, when I decided to get back into Yoga after a couple of years off, I treated myself to this mat and I have to say, I love it. It's everything Manduka-lovers have been saying for years. I love the color. The mat itself is easy on my knees, which are getting used to the floor poses again. I do find it does become slick when I'm getting my sweat on, but I just use resin (Aurorae makes resin bags) or a towel made for hot Yoga. I think it's worth the price and I look forward to using this mat for a long time.

The product delivers what it offers good stability and does not slide. The only problem is it stinks, the smell of plastic is very, very strong. I recommend putting it under the sun for a few hours.

I was mainly worried about the stickiness, but after a couple of weeks of use and wiping it with sea salt as recommended, it is ok. I don't sweat a lot. And it's not yet as sticky as my prior mat, an Aurora Northern Lights (which I really liked, but it's disintegrating too much after a year and a half). The lifetime guarantee is a huge selling point. .

I'm a yoga instructor and I have used a Manduka mat for years. The one I replaced with this one had been used almost daily for 16 years and it still has a lot of wear left, though it looks a little too ratty to teach on. This mat is extremely durable and lighter to carry than the black Manduka. It takes a little breaking in, but once it is seasoned with a few practice hours, the surface is firm and makes it easy to ground without slipping. I recommend this mat to anyone who is serious about yoga. Don't be put off by the price. It is actually much less expensive than buying a new mat once a year because your old one is shredded. And even if it didn't last so long, it has the best practice surface of any mat I've ever used.

This mat is great! It's cushiony without compromising stability. There was no chemical smell when I got it. The only thing preventing me from awarding that elusive 5th star is that it was suggested to roll it "backwards" so that it's flat during usage: this doesn't happen. It's nearly flat, but I usually put something on it for a few minutes before class starts. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning, nonetheless.
