Rock solid but placement critical
I bought this to support my ViewSonic VP3881, a 38" curved, ultra-wide screen, that my previous arm just wouldn't hold. Instructions were clear and assembly was done within about 20 minutes. One aspect I didn't quite foresee is due to the arm's construction, you are forced to either position the monitor very high up, very far forward, or mount the base to the side. The latter choice works perfectly well (and actually looks better and give your desk a cleaner feel!), but it is something you should consider, particularly if you have monitor speakers or other obstructions at far edges of your desk.Once everything was mounted, my monitor was pretty heavy because everything kept drooping. A few strategic twists later and it has been absolutely rock solid. The hydraulics still allow for moment when you need it and exceptional hold when you've found your place. As with most monitor stands, I still feel the wiring channels are a bit of an afterthought and the USB ports are separately wired, requiring two cables...but these are relatively minor quibbles.Overall, a rock solid stand at a decent price -- just plan your positioning!

Excellent monitor arm which can hold up the heaviest of monitors or TVs
Excellent monitor arm, holds up my 48 inch monitor at 16kg with no issues. As a bonus you also get usb 3.0 ports in the arm

Very sturdy!
This is such a stable arm, I bought it for my husband the adjustment capability is great, it is stable and mobile and great value for money, it fits perfectly into the table and the screen it has good stability and functionality. I would highly recommend this arm to anyone looking for stability and strength for their pc.

No adjustment possible
None of the pivot points or hinges move on the monitor arm. It’s stiff and stuck in one fixed position. Tried adjusting tension as instructions advise and saw no difference at all. Very disappointed and having to immediately return and replace now.

High Quality, All Metal Design
Found it easy to install to my desk using the clamp option. Very well made and sturdy. Can easily adjust the monitor height and tilt and it stays where you put it.Great to have 2 USB 3 ports on the front of it also, with lengthy enough cables to the rear, to connect to a hub or a PC.The only downside is the positioning. I need my monitor (a 38" ultrawide) to be centred as far to the back of the desk as possible, and to do this, I needed to position the mount quite a bit to the left side of the rear of the desk, else the monitor would have been far to close to me.

Perfect
I recently replaced the bulky leg of my 43-inch Dell monitor with this sleek arm mount, instantly freeing up a significant amount of desk space. The assembly process was a breeze (just follow the instruction manual - there's literally just 3 steps). The quality of the mount is exceptional; it's sturdy enough to hold my 15kg screen without any wobble, ensuring a secure and stable setup. Its professional look complements my workspace, and the functionality is flawless. Highly recommended for anyone looking to optimize their desk space with a reliable and stylish solution.

Perfect, listened to user feedback for improvements
This is my second purchase from this vendor. The first one was a heavy duty dual screen mount (17-35in) bought over 2 years ago, used daily and has stood the test of time. That one had a DIY slot for usb cables, which I didn’t configure. This new model, for my third wide monitor, is a great addition and holds the weight nicely with its counterweight mechanism. The usb ports addition was a feedback from years ago, and is a good addition, however, people have moved on to USB-C and Thunderbolt now.But these are expensive cable tech, and I understand that the standard USB3.0 keeps costs low for the manufacturer as well as consumer. These usb ports can be used for charging the phone or a desk speaker or wireless peripherals, dongles, etc.I have a Thunderbolt4 dock anyways with a one cable solution. All in all, a great purchase with this mount, and looking forward to what Putorsen brings out next year.

A good cheaper option
I have a 43" wide screen and looked around long and hard for a suitable arm. Others were way out of my price range, but this one appeared to be a good prospect, so I hit the buy. True to its description, the arm holds up my quite heavy monitor without difficulty. Assembly, however, was disappointing. A small thing perhaps, which I overcame with hulk like strength, was inserting the top part of the arm into the bottom part. It may be the lack of grease that turned this into a herculean event, but eventually both arms were (very) snuggly joined. As you might imagine, it is hard to turn on this axis, but not impossible. The main disappointment, but not enough to return the item given the complexities of doing that post assembly, was that the screws for the cable tidies attached to the arms appeared to have been power screwed in with a consequent destruction of the screw heads. I've managed to remove one, but not the other, and am looking around for a comparable screw so that I can refit the cable tidy. The one I removed was very snug too, which might explain the damage to the heads. I haven't gotten around to testing whether the USBs are indeed 3.0 subsequent to reading another review, but the arm itself is fine except for these niggles and it is an excellent option at the price.
