The dressing has a nice flavor. Unfortunately however, it's super sweet with SUGAR being the second ingredient. Because of the CORN SYRUP and the inclusion of EGG YOLKS in the ingredient list, we will not repurchase.

I love this stuff and was really disappointed when my local grocer and asian market no longer sold it. I was really happy to find it, and was more then willing to pay the money to get it On delivery, I noticed it was significantly darker then it should be. I wrote it off as I've had products in the past which had a color change but still tasted fine. I did lock for a 'best by date' but could not find one. I put a bottle in the fridge to chill over night and decided to take this dressing for my lunch salad. The next day poured it into a little container and noticed it was not only way thicker then it should be, but contained a number of bubbles. Upon tasting it, it tasted sour - vomit sour. It had no smell so I decided to give it a good shake and try again. Nope - same issue. As any other mortal does when tasting/smelling something bad, I of course recruited someone else to try. Same results. I need y'all to understand - I WANTED IT TO BE GOOD But no, it was bad. I did what anyone would do and went on to my amazon account to attempt to return/exchange it - the product was very obviously bad before they even shipped it to me, or if they wanted to say the heat/sun made it go off, they should have shipped it differently. But no - it is not eligible to be returned or exchanged. So you're just out the money which is WILD because I sure as hell can if my instacart or whatever grocery delivery is bad upon arrival.

This dressing is very good—just like in the restaurants!!! i’ll order again

Well, I was looking for that authentic in house type of ginger/sauce/dressing you get at your local Japanese or Chinese restaurant you get on that little side salad, Terry Hos is a bit to sweet for me and not like the dressing I was expecting, my rating is not to suggest it’s bad it’s just not what I was expecting it may be great for other people, and just to add, I think the price was a little bit high for a salad dressing, and also during shipping one of the lids was cracked on the bottle, I didn’t bother sending it back I just threw it out, not the best packing in this case!

Want sure exactly about ordering. Was looking for a dressing for salad that you would get eating out. This was it. Loved it!

This is not the ginger dressing they serve in hibachi restaurants. The kind in hibachi restaurants is always orange and has a lighter flavour. It’s my favorite type of salad dressing so I was really excited to find this. This dressing tastes nothing like the restaurant kind. I would give it zero stars if I could. Waste of money. Don’t buy if you’re expecting restaurant dressing.

Not very good. Just my opinion.

Could use more ginger for some people, but while I enjoy that ginger taste it's perfect for me. While I want more ginger per bite, a stronger flavor would creep up and ultimately ruin my salad before I finished it.
