So good I sold my Milwaukee set and is now using Kobalt.
I like the Kobalt line of cordless tool. I have the drill, 1/4” impact, 3/8” impact, and cordless grinder. I have not been disappointed. I work industrial maintenance and use these everyday. It gets the job done. Shoot when I took it outta the box I put a battery in it and walked straight out and took the lug nuts off my car and my wife’s SUV. No problem at all. There is actually a guy on YouTube that you can watch where he put this to the test beside a Milwaukee and the Kobalt beat the Milwaukee by I think it was 5 ft lbs. he was torquing down lug nuts on semis and then removing them. The Kobalt won. Barely but it won. With that said it’s got great power for a 3/8” impact. I couldn’t be happier. I love the looks and it feels great in the hand. It’s just an all around great impact. The guys at my work like them so much that one of them actually went out and bought himself a set. I’m not lying when I say that I had a set of Milwaukee and after having my Kobalt set for a while I went and sold the Milwaukee sets. For the quality and price I switched over. That’s just me though you make your own choice all I’m doing is giving my opinion of this tool.

Powerful and compact
I love my new driver! It's compact and powerful. This order said refurbished, but it sure seemed to be new in the box. The box was damaged, but the driver was NEW as far as I could tell. I am very happy with it and will look for more similar items soon.

These have come a long way
In 2008 I purchased a 3/8 impact from Matco for $450 bucks. That thing didn't last long and maybe had 50 ft lbs on a full charge. It would get weaker as the battery depleted. Now this bad boy was cheap, small, and powerful. I've used it a few times now and it has enough torque that I barely pull out my air impact anymore. I'm using end smaller 2.0 amp battery and the charge still lasts all day. Also doesn't loose torque as the battery gets weaker. I would buy this again in a heart beat

I bought this to replace an older worn out one, and i took the gamble with the description saying "refurbished"... HA. i got a BRAND NEW impact, in the factory box, all sealed up.

Absolute tank.
I have the 24v for it and for a electric impact. This thing is a hammer. Super impressed. I’m a motorcycle mechanic and it’s super fast and never let me down.
