I use this for all of my tattoos…it cuts the healing in half the time. And keeps the color. For all of you who get tattooed, I highly recommend you use this.Apply at your appointment, remove the next day (24HRS), clean your tattoo with dial soap, pat dry with paper towel, then use rubbing alcohol and gently wrap your tattoo…let air dry and then apply the saniderm…make sure to apply about 1/2-1” past the tattoo on all sides…this will prevent the additional plasma from leaking. It’s a bit harder on any part of the body that bends. Also the do NOT need to stretch this when place it on the skin…

All of my art work are large pieces so being able to protect and heal large areas. I leave the tat covered for about 4-5 days and when I remove this tape my skin has healed so well, no ink loss and blood stains on your clothes or sheets

I got my first larger tattoo and did TONS of research on after care. I chose saniderm and my tattoo artist was like nah, don't use that. I ignored his advice because I just had a gut feeling that saniderm would be beneficial. I know my body better than anyone, and I sleep on my side with my arm under a body pillow right where this tattoo is. And I have an autoimmune disorder so sometimes it goes on the attack extra hard. I wish I would have taken pics, I will next time to show how this works. But basically, you apply it over the tattoo and follow the instructions on how often to change it and how long to wear it. After the four days of the saniderm, my tattoo was mostly healed and NO peeling, NO scabbing, and within two weeks it was like regular skin with a beautiful new tattoo. It weeped under the saniderm but is still able to breathe so it heals so much more safely, quickly and less messy and gross. I 1000% recommend using this product. I will be using it every time hands down! Pic is of my beautiful tattoo a couple weeks later.

I don’t love as much as much as recovery dermsheild but it’s a great back up. It just feels very plastic-y when applying over tattoos and is shiny instead of just smooth and clear like the Recovery brand is.

This product has taken the stress out of tattoo healing for me! Slap it on and 3-4 days later my tattoo is completely healed. It is a bit tricky to get on yourself so have someone help you if your tattoo artist didn't already put it on. Also, make sure your skin is TOTALLY dry when applying it with no creams, balms, or ointments- applying it in a cool, dry room helps a lot. I like to sit the area in front of a fan when I'm done to get that cooling affect.This product also works on small wounds and I've used it on my kiddo's leg scrapes and other smaller cuts- because of this I keep a small roll of it in my first aid kit.I will ALWAYS recommend this to anyone getting a tattoo!

I absolutely love this bandage. I can let my new tattoos heal without worrying about contamination, without worrying about applying aftercare cream and washing it 3 times a day, and without worrying about water. It's expensive but imo worth it

I've used this product for years and all of the sudden it's not working like it was before. It started coming off within an hour of placement. Site was cleaned and dried before placement. Tried 2 separate times with same results. Reached out to company directly and they took awhile to respond and I sent pictures, order number etc and they decided to ask me the exact same questions I had already told them. It has now been 3 days with no response after giving the same information again.
