This blower was a nice replacement to ours that was probably the original to our house. It was so easy for my husband to set up and it's so quiet when it turns on. We didn't realize how loud our previous blower was until now. Good value for our money for sure!

Instructions are minimal, but installation is pretty simple. Before I installed it, I connected wires to bypass the thermal switch, in order to verify that the motor and speed control work. The fan is fairly noisy, but the noise seems to mostly come from the fan blades versus the motor. Also, it's installed in an echo chamber that probably makes it sound louder. I reduce the speed to reduce the noise when I am watching TV. It takes a little while to figure out where to put the thermostat. When I first installed it, the fan kept switching off and on. I realized the airflow was cooling the thermostat. I moved it until I found a place where it would stay on. The "velcro" straps aren't velcro, but rather foam strips to reduce rattling. If I were to install this again, the one change I would make would be to install the assembly off-center. That is, I centered the entire unit. I should have ignored the motor and centered the fan blades. The result is more air flowing from the right side of the fireplace than the left. Not a big deal. You won't get a ton of air blowing out from this unit. I actually remove the louvers on top of my fireplace when using the fan in order to reduce obstructions to the airflow

I was skeptical at first reading some of the reviews however, this product was very easy to install. The installation guide isn’t the best however, I had no issues. I was worried about the double sided tape not being very sticky. However, I have had no issues up until this point. The noise level is not an issue and provides good airflow and extra heat into the space. Would highly recommend.

The fan works good. Easy to install. My only complaint is the temp sensor dosent work well at all.
