I have used this dissolved in alcohol to keep pests away from my quadriplegic husband's power chair when he is outside. He is unable to shoo them away or get them off of himself. I have used it in hot water over a tea light to freshen the home and discourage flies and other insects from entering or staying in the area. Works great. It is powerful, nasal clearing, eye watering is you use a lot, full menthol that fills the house within about 15 minutes. I also used the hot water version and a cloth to rub over a stray with fleas, and the fleas jumped off! (avoid the eye area). The dog rolled in the grass to get the menthol off after about 20 minutes. It does keep "cooling" your skin for a while after you rinse. AND, I added it to my peroxide mixture for mouthwash, a little too strong, but effective.

This stuff is legit! Whenever I am congested I just put some of these crystals in a cup and warm them up in the microwave. Breathe them in and I am cleared up within seconds!!! I would never have believed they worked until I actually tried them myself. Literally it’s like using the old school menthol sticks .

Absolutely love these, I have purchased every winter, just place a few in a warmer and the whole room smells like menthol, helps my little guy breathe better and help with coughing to sleep through the night. Ive shared them with close friends and family and they all love them.

Suffer from bad sinus these worked like old vapor rub when dropped into a hot cup of water! Actually, open up my nasal passages! Once they chilled, I use the water and rub it on my skin. It seems to get ache to stop. On sore arms and legs.

I have found pure menthol crystals to be very useful for various applications, including in steam vaporizers and as ingredients in salves. While menthol exists as either a solid or a vapor, I have successfully blended the menthol crystals with oils, resins, beeswax, and other natural substances to create a range of skin and hair products.

I read that squirrels don't like menthol. I put the crystals in mesh bags and attached to the tomato cages. Seems to help but jury still out if effective. Easy to use and better than trying some ointment with menthol.

nice full package, pure crystals, used them in my candle warmer. the crystals are beautiful. there is a bit dirt when melting in my wax warmer but i think the crystals do attract dirt and maybe its the process. they dont look dirty at all, and i have to melt like 1/5 the bag before i see much of anything, so its really not much i think. im fine with it since i get pure menthol. idk if it worked for what i wanted it for, but it was strong and smelled nice. i got a smaller bag before but realized i needed more thus got this which is double the size.

Flavor/scent is very clean and refreshing. No sediments or off-flavors/smells (very pure). Crystals are long and thin, and break up easily. They look like clear glass, and were very well packaged in the sealed foil bag (like a tougher potato chip bag). Once unpackaged, it stored easily in a Ziploc bag within a screw-top container. I double-seal it because otherwise everything in my kit would become minty. The only improvement I can possibly think of is to have the product packaged in a zipper-style foil bag straight from the manufacturer, to protect the storage freshness better, but that's not worth dropping stars over. As stated, I'm using this menthol for homemade vape juice, so the following pertains only to this particular usage: This menthol melts down easily in warm 20/80 PG/VG at about 1/2 teaspoon per 100mL, and doesn't recrystallize when the juice cools at that concentration. Used hot water (192 F) from my Keurig to submerge and warm the bottled juice past menthol's melting point, which was conveniently written on the packaging. Once warmed, I just shook the bottles until the crystals and liquid density separations were no longer visible when held up to a bright light. Made 100mL test batch at 1/2tsp per 100mL concentration, loved it, and now have a 500mL bottle for refilling my safety-capped bottles. Wouldn't use more than 1tsp per 100mL, since it's so powerful already at half that. For reference, I can flavor almost ten liters of vape juice at this concentration with this one 8 oz. bag of menthol--an insanely good deal compared to bottled flavors. I'm saving so much money, I'm mad at my past self for not doing this sooner. Overall, I love this stuff. Will absolutely buy again when I need it, though that won't be for a while. ;)
