These button hook helpers are a fantastic invention. My husband sprained his thumb and wrist, and he was having a hard time buttoning his shirts. I bought these button helpers hoping that they would work, and they do. He is actually using it to button his shirts, and he's not complaining! Mission accomplished!

These buttonhooks have been wonderful for my work as a wardrobe technician on period plays. Love that it came in a pack of three — two lacing hooks used together are a great help for corset strings. The buttonhook end is excellent for long lines of buttons and can be reshaped as needed to fit various sizes of buttonhole. I know other reviewers don't love this, but I like that it's narrow and thin, because it gives me more space to work with when a larger tool would be in the way.Unfortunately it will not work on certain types of buttons, but that's just something about buttonhooks generally. Also, one of the three came with a loose lacing hook end that wasn't properly seated, but it was easily fixed with superglue. The lacing hooks are likely to unscrew if not secured this way.

These works good and easy to use especially for old folks that have difficulty and want to be independent

Bought a bunch of new dress shirts for my husband. Top button holes were so tight that I couldn’t get them buttoned up with just my fingers. Had never used a button hook before and I was amazed at how easily and quickly this little gem worked! Gave one to my sister and she loves hers, too!

I bought this months ago and my husband loves it he had a stroke a year ago and has trouble with his right hand so it’s hard to button his shirts so when I bought this for him it was a great help for him.

I will have to spend time with this to make it worthwhile. I feel sure it will grow in value once I've mastered the technique, and I'll likely need it more in the future as my arthritis grows worse. Don't expect it as being a quick fix.

I think this will be a big help to my father in law that has arthritis in his hands and has trouble with holding things
