Is this smooth and soft? I can’t stand a ridged pattern on my skin!

Hi,I purchased the pink and it’s very very smooth and soft ,where my sister got the white one which has a different pattern making a different texture but also very very soft,I can show you the pink in the video if it helps

Would this stand up to having medium size dogs on the bed? TIA

The fabric is very smooth and soft so if dogs just hop up and sleep or cuddle then fine BUT if it’s crazy jumping about type dogs (!) their claws MAY possibly tear it but I think unlikely. My retriever is fine !

Is this duvet fire retardent?

On the label it says 'KEEP AWAY FROM FIRE' so I guess not

First use . Should you wash before first use ?

I didn’t wash it I sprayed refresh spray and hung out in fresh air. I always have top sheet in bed no duvet not on skin I used mine all winter and just hung out on a good day. I sent mine to laundrette summer time they washed and dried and I put away for next winter. I bought the light weight one for summer time hope this helps

Attractive and comfortable

This is my second purchase of one of these quilts. It is soft, light and feels lovely to sleep under, washes well and dries quickly and looks good on the bed. It fits into my washing machine but there is no room for anything else, so unfortunately l end up needing two machine washes for the rest of my bedding and bath towel instead of just one. Okay if you’re not worried about energy and water consumption.

An absolute dream

I have purchased two double and two single duvets and these are sooooo comfortable I do not want to get out of bed. Really light, great in the washing machine and dryer. Would definitely recommend these...oh and another plus you do not have all that fiddling to get the duvet cover on or off. winwin.

Lovely duvet

This duvet is absolutely lovely and ideal for campervan use. It was quite chilly at night, but enveloped in this I was very comfy…and the dogs loved it too….very lightweight too. I’d happily recommend this

Very soft and lightweight.

I love this. I got 4.5 tog super king and I was unsure if I would get the thicker one in the washing machine. This one definitely fits with room to spare. It is extremely soft and silky and lightweight but also snuggly and warm. Perfect for most seasons. Not used it in winter so I can't say but I would definitely recommend. I will get the thicker one nearer the time when I want to use it. I have ordered another one because obviously I will need to wash and dry it.

light as a feather

Very light, filling feels silky and drapes well. Quite warm for a 4.5, maybe too warm for high summer. Colour is a little darker than I would like. Cover fabric is quite silky too, but the duvet does not slide off during the night. the linen weave effect is printed on I think, but looks good. I don't much like the piping/edging as it feels slightly rough compared to the duvet itself. Not yet had it a week, not washed it yet, so this is a review of first impressions. Hope that helps.

Sharp corners!

I love the duvet it's light weight but really warm. It fits in the washing machine and washed well.I'm not sure if anyone else has found this niggling fault, but the corners of the duvet are extremely SHARP, to such an extent I had scratches on my hand! I wouldn't let this put you off buying one and I'm not sure if ours is a "one off"
