It is made by hand in Morocco by cracking argan nuts between two stones and then manually grinding them in a stone grinder. After the ground nuts have been hand-kneaded for many hours, the pulp is then cold-pressed into argan oil. More than 80% of argan oil consists of unsaturated fatty acids, including Omega-9 and Omega-6, and contains three times the amount of vitamin E as olive oil.
