Reliable Tank
Hey! I bought this laptop on Feb 12 2018. After using it for a bit, i can provide a little info on my experience. When i wanted to buy a laptop I had a decent budget and many laptops to choose from. This caught my eye and i was hesitant because i heard online that Alienware products suck. This laptop is heavy but thats a good thing for me. I dropped it once and while i was carrying it to the other room i also slammed it slightly against the wall a few times. This thing is a champ and takes scuffs and impact like a beast. The performance is really good as well. I do have it undervolted at -1.30 and i have throttle stop on as well. With those 2 things i cannot complain at all. This laptop has never really gave me any issues what so ever. In the months i had it, i have been nothing but happy with my purchase. i will list some pros/cons belowPros-Tankish exterior- Good Gaming Performance- No power issues or throttling issues with Throttesltop and UV-Stays pretty cool-Kb and trackpad are nice to the touchCons- ehh cant think of any, but maybe the top portion of the keyboard is a fingerprint magnet. ( i usually just clean it every other week or something)

Great gaming laptop!
After 7 years of using a 1st generation I7 laptop, I wasn't expecting too much from this computer. I was pleasantly surprised! It runs much faster and smoother than my older Alienware Laptop.For the price, this is an excellent gaming laptop!

This is my third AW laptop, the people that buy these know what they are buying. I'm not a gamer, I use it for Auto CAD. The only reason I gave it four stars, it that only has two USB ports and AW stopped installing DVD players in all their units.

Had to return it.
Purchased this item and the very same day I had to call Dell Support. A Dell technician came out and stated that the motherboard was bad and needed to be replaced. I just couldn't see myself keeping it when it needed warranty work fresh out of the box.
