Lionel The Polar Express Freight 5.0 Electric O Gauge Train Set with Bluetooth & Remote

Train is good quality however it's more than a toy; will be great for our big xmas village which we set up each year and differently. I would not recommend for under 4 years old or until they understand how to use the remote and not to continuously touch it as it will come off the tracks.

awesome train set. Cool sounds and my kid absolutey loves it. You can use the app or the remote that it comes with. Put it around my christmas tree and our 18 month old was enfatuated with it. Great functionality and value. Will look to expand the track and add some things over the years to make it even cooler.

I have an American Flyer freight train and passenger train set from when I was a kid. I am a very active 77 year old guy. So after this past Christmas I decided to buy this Polar Express. Well, it works so well and is so much fun I can run it from my easy chair. It is bluetooth from the remote to the engine. Forward, reverse, blows the horn and ring the bell. It converses with the dispatcher. Use Caution.. I am having so much fun I bought a full passenger train and engine. Of course I had to buy a lot more track and a bigger transformer. I even went up in the attic and got out my old American Flyer sets. Yup, now I have to spend a small fortune buying more modern fast track, and another transformer. I am going to buy a new modern engine and use the old cars. I am going to switch old couplers to the new knuckle ones. My old engines will just go one display. My old train is S gage and the Polar Express is O gage. Lionel now sells American Flyer S gage equipment that is new and modern.

No way!! So I ordered my Grandbabe the Lionel Polar Express Ready-to-Play Set this Christmas & he absolutely loved it! We saw that the Lionel O Gauge Scale had more options for purchasing Polar Express additions to curate a collection (the Ready-to-Play tracks aren’t compatible for O-Gage Cars). Loved that The Polar Express Freight Train Set has cars that are entirely different from the Ready-to-Play Set. My Grandbabe is enchanted, it’s a great set. The train cars & track quality did not disappoint here. The details given to each car make it all the more special, for him magical.
