Q: Can this be used outdoors?

I've not done an outdoor linear drain but I don't see why not. The only issue will be the more frequent lifting up the cover to clear the drain bucket screen. Lifting and cleaning the master shower drain is a task with a tiled linear drain. A bit easier if it is the metal type and not the tiled insert tray type as the tiled version is fairly heavy and a bit risky to damage to it and the floor should it be dropped. The solid or perforated metal cap is much lighter to pick up and reinstall each time.

Q: Does this flex at all when it’s stepped on?

No flex at al.My floors are small river stone, and the drain insert has the stone in is as well. Even without tile or stone this is also a very sturdy an terrific shower drain.

Q: how can I get replacement parts for this shower drain. Plastic clip is broken and I need more of them.?
