the screens do wobble easily which can get annoying
I've been using this stand for about 8 months now. The stand works OK and the quality seems high. I purchased this for my desk at the office and while it holds my 3 monitors securely, the screens do wobble easily which can get annoying. The stand also takes up a lot of desk space. I expected better for the price you pay.

Worth the cost
I was looking for a sturdy monitor stand since I was purchasing three Dell U2412M monitors. After reading the reviews here, I had some reservations about materials and build quality. Please allow me to lay those rumors to rest. Pros: 1. This is the only monitor stand I found to hold 24" monitors. I looked at the Ergotrons and their site says they don't support three 24" monitors so I passed on them. If you're going with smaller monitors, they are cheaper options available to you. 2. This thing is a monster in size and weight. With my triple landscape layout, it has a 5 foot span. I had the forethought to weigh just the base alone before assembly and it came in at 11 pounds and it tends to be on the light side by a few pounds (I never calibrated it). 3. Solid construction. ALL load bearing parts are metal - either steel or aluminum. Anybody who states differently does not own this stand. Regarding the plastics - cable guides are plastic and clip on to the post or arms. The base has a plastic cover over metal. Remember, I stated the base alone weighs at least 11 pounds. 4. Plenty of adjustments to get your monitors aligned and angled correctly. Just remember that the center monitor gets the mount WITHOUT the turn screw adjustment. Height adjustment is based off the center monitor and done by the main mounting on the bar. CONS: 1: Set Up - While overall setup was easy, I did have to customize a bit. The main bar gets inserted into a socket which has a bolt welded to the base. The idea is to insert the rod, screw it onto the bolt and then lock it in with an allen set screw. The problem was with the powder coating and the clearance of the socket, it was TIGHT. My solution was to sand off the powder coat up to three inches from the end, apply a coat of black primer to the fresh metal and oil the tube socket and rod. Problem solved but required an extra half hour or of assembly time. 2. Monitor mounts (rotation) - I had to remove these and snug up the lock nut for monitor rotation. The factory preset was too loose and allowed for very easy monitor rotation but was giving me fits during monitor alignment. 3. Monitor mounts (arm attachment) - Two issues here. First is the attachment design. It allows for quick and easy mounting and removal of monitors, but there is no way to lock them into place which also leads to my second issue with this design. Tilting up is a guessing game. Do not try to make fine adjustments by tilting up, there's no bottom grip or set screw lock to prevent movement so you have a lot of slop. If you go to far down, tilt up beyond flush and make fine adjustments by tilting down. Once set, lock the tilt adjustment securely into place. 4. Aesthetics - I like the stealth fighter design philosophy, but the undercut of the base covering makes the ends appear to curl upwards. I've verified that it is indeed sitting flush as can be and is very stable. But my eyes keep glancing over the ends and wondering. Summation: Be prepared for some extra labor when fitting the rod into the base and work in an open area. Be aware of which mount goes on the center monitor and address any loose fittings prior to re-locating the entire setup to your desk. Overall I spent about two hours on assembly and adjustments. Part of this was due to some of my own goofs and gaffs, but also some necessary customizing. Your mileage may vary. Final thoughts - overall I'm very pleased with this stand. Half a star goes toward having to customize the fit and half a star for the bracket nuances with aesthetics being a push.

Great Stand, requires some patience
This stand looks great and is built very well. it is very adjustable, allowing several configurations which can sometimes feel great while other times makes you wish you bought a solid\straight arm. each monitor has its own height adjustment which can take some additional time to level and adjust to personal standards, but the end result looks amazing and is worth the effort. The quality of the materials are top notch, the cable routing was placed well and is extremely useful at eliminating that cluttered look. I am currently using three 24" Dell u2412m monitors in a portrait eyefinity arrangement and am extremely happy with it.

Don't buy this! Annoying wobble
I've had this stand for over 3 years, and I hate to admit it, but I hate this stand. I'm not sure why it hasn't gotten any bad reviews. It is a PAIN to set up. It's really hard to tell by eye if your center monitor is centered and tilted correctly. You only notice the tilt when you put on your side monitors and see that it is heavily lopsided. I had to use a tape measurer, pencil, and iPhone compass to make everything even. The audio ports are a good idea, but they add enough noise to my headphones for me to notice while I'm not playing any music. I do not recommend using them. The USB ports are not powered, so you'll have trouble charging even one phone. There is the XFX logo on the right side of the stand, my last X has worn off and I wish they sold replacement stickers for it. The number 1 reason I don't like this stand is that my side monitors wobble. I'm currently using 3 DELL U2412Ms, and they wobble while I type. It's not a crazy type of wobble, but it's enough to be bothered by it. Attempting to shake my desk, it looks like the right side wobbles more than my left. Overall, I would give it one star because it does look cool and does what it says: it holds up my monitors. I would not recommend this stand or any other triple monitor stand to anyone as I'm quite sure they all have this issue. I recommend keeping your current original stands, or get those dual monitor and single monitor adjustable arm stands. If you want this or any of the other triple monitor stands anyways and the wobbling bothers you, my temporary fix is to put something underneath the side monitors (Such as a speaker) to stop the wobbling, but I shouldn't have to do this for a $400 dollar stand. I will be emailing XFX about this issue. Maybe I got a dud, and I'll be sure to update this review once I hear from them.

As you will see right away, the price is a bit high. Having said that, and looking at what other options are out there, it is a good product. Price is actualy reasonable as you will see when you get it. All parts are well made and of a high quality. Also very adjustable to set your monitors up how you want them. If you can push to spend on this product, you will not regret it. Just remember to first make sure that it will fit your needs ( and monitors ) as size and space ( and look's ) must be looked at. Enjoy. P.S. Do not over tighten the screws when fitting your monitors to the brackets as you might strip them.

This stand even though it's not cheap, is still a budget option when it comes to these stands. While it will hold 3 monitors, it's not ideal. I have 3 24" panels which is the largest size supported. Although it accepts them, the problem I'm having is a weight issue, the stand is not able to keep them horizontal. The two end monitors lean down, one side is worse than the other. On the right hand panel, even though the adjustment is at its highest point, it still sits about 3mm lower than the centre panel at the closest edge and about 7mm lower at the outer edge. This causes a huge disparity when things are spanning the monitors! The other problem I'm having is in fine adjustment, there seems to be no way to lock off the yaw and roll. The pitch has a nice lock, but the other axis are very fluid, so it's a nightmare. You get one side looking okay, and while adjusting the other panel you mess up the first one. It would be nice if everything could be tightened down. As a cheap(er) triple monitor stand it's okay, just know what you are getting!
