Short and thin
I appreciate the sentiment behind this book, I’m a professionally diagnosed dyslexic myself who has benefited from knowing I was dyslexic my whole life. While this book is an easy read for a dyslexic and even a child it’s almost too simplified. Half the pages are quotes, it’s very repetitive and it is certainly not a guide. Most of the knowledge is anecdotal and feels much more a way to boost confidence in someone who is ashamed of being dyslexic, so if you’re self conscious about it then this is the book for you. What you will not find is a deeper learning about what makes someone dyslexic and deeper insight into their strengths and weaknesses. It is simply a book that gives top level views of strengths and weaknesses in different areas and is extremely repetitive to the point that I just started to skip over sections. Please be a bit more scientific/academic in your approach as I found this book to be disappointing and almost a bit patronising in how it has been oversimplified. But hey maybe that works better for some people.

Amazing book
I have as the writer suggests the amazing Kate Griggs dipped in and out of the books so far. I cannot wait to review the video links available . I have literally skimmed and was so excited about the content and how informative the book is. I have a knowledge of dyslexia and the book has already in a short while blown me away with how Kate has put her depth of knowledge in this book this will be a book I cannot put down . I cannot wait to share the contents in my workplace and the community thank you Kate a fascinating book and hopefully willImpact the journey and goalOf achieving the desire I know I cannot wait to share the word and engage and make schools and workplaces aware of this invisible talent of dyslexia

A MUST READ FOR ANYONE WITH DYSLEXIA OR KIDS WITH IT TOO....
WOW!!! What can I say, I read the whole book in one afternoon, I couldn't put it down. This book is incredible, so well thought out, the book is interactive too with the excellent idea of using Q codes to break up the reading process. I didn't know there were other people like me, I thought this book was written about me it was so on point. It has opened my eyes and will also help me with my own kids too. what else can I say apart from THANK YOU Kate.

A great book, very inspirsing and motivating
This book has not been printed in Times New Roman Font and is very dyslexic friendly to read. Plus, it also has QR codes that link to videos making it very easy to create a bigger picture of dyslexia without all the reading. A must-have book for anyone, to learn more about dyslexia or even if you have the amazing dyslexia superpower.

Brilliant Book
This book is brilliant, practical and informative. My only regret is that it was not written years ago. Nevertheless Kate at Made By Dyslexia is doing fantastic and valuable work to challenge conventional thinking about dyslexia. She highlights it as a superpower rather than a disadvantage that is supremely fit for the future. Go Kate! A must read book for all dyslexics, their families, friends, employers and educators that care.
