I love The Marine! The movie was super unrealistic, but it was like that by design to be extremely epic! I loved how all the gunfire action was very epic, the explosions were cool, and the fist fights were epic. The story itself was a great story about fight to save lives, take care of your family and friends, never murder, never steal, and never commit betrayal. The length of movie didn’t feel too long or too short, but just right. Therefore, I say The Marine is great! Have a great day and goooo the US Marines!

It was a great movie, very realistic; for today's world.

Being prior military, I enjoy all types of military movies. Especially Navy and Marine because I’m a former Squid (Navy). Not to mention, we always give those Marines guys a ride. Enjoyed the action.

The subtle comedy in this film was wonderful. I really liked it. The cast was spot on as well. Great cast. Though, I couldn’t give higher than 3 stars because, while I thought the explosions were fantastic, there were just too many of them. I know that a movie is a movie, but they survived a super duper number of explosions that were just impossible to survive, unless they were in a SCI FI flick. This isn’t a SCI FI flick. Now, if you like explosions, there are plenty of them and very spectacular. For those who are into that kind of stuff, you’d probably give this movie 5 stars.

This is one awesome action film. I had seen John Cena in 12 rounds and it was entertaining for any evening. But this Marine is outstanding. Hand-to-Hand, explosions beyond counting, and humor too. We all enjoyed the wild, wacky, absurdity of the whole movie. And the Special Features were almost as good as the movie itself. Especially we enjoyed seeing the premiere of the movie at USMC Camp Pendleton. I wish we had had a John Cena movie when I was in the Corps. If you want beginning-to-end romping, stomping, hell, death and destruction....this flick is for YOU! The Terminator has nothing on the character of former Marine Triton. To say it is unbelievable doesn't even begin to cover it. BUT who wants reality in an adventure film. Get this and watch it with friends.
