U Konserve - Ice Pack, Moisture Resistant Cover, Non-Toxic Gel, Machine Washable (Ocean)

I bought 2 of these for my kids lunch bags. They have the Lands End Schoolmates bags and these fit perfectly into the top mesh pocket. They are quite small (see photos I posted with chopstick and computer mouse for comparison). They do seem to keep everything moderately cold, but not icy cold like I was hoping. I think I will need to add another ice pack under their sandwich bins. We live in a warm climate and using just this one the cheese on their sandwiches does melt a bit by lunch time. Their grapes are lukewarm, not cold. I was disappointed in the simple gel pack that is inside the cover, it doesn't appear too hardy and I wonder how long it will last, and where to buy replacements for when it does break. One of ours was stitched beautifully, the other is kind of sloppy - which is disappointing at this price point.

I've been using these ice packs for several years now. They work great. I've never had any issues with leaking. The cover is easy to wipe down, and I like the colors they come in.The best part about these ice packs is they are super slim and don't add a lot of bulk or weight. I put them on the bottom of my kids' lunch boxes and still have plenty of room to stack stuff on top of them. They will keep the whole lunch box cool for a while, but obviously whatever is closest to the pack stays the coldest longest. They are exactly what I wanted them to be.

I've been using this in my child's lunchbox since early September. It most definitely keeps her lunch cold and on some days, it comes home still slightly frozen after a full day. It's not 100% sweat free, definitely a tad bit wet at the end of the day, but not bad enough to not want to use it. The slim fit is perfect.

I'm torn on my rating. I bought 3 of these. I love them, but one of mine busted after only a few uses. I opened my child's lunch box & it was slimed! I will say it washed off, but I was worried about it getting all over her lunch. It must have happened afterwards. I will now need to see if I can buy a replacement pack. They really are a perfect fit for the lunchbox & really cute, but if the other 2 don't hold up as well I may not buy anymore, or recommend them to anyone.

Outer shell does its job but have to use 2 for lunch all day because they r small. Knew that going in and would buy again

freezes up, keeps things cool, does NOT sweat moisture.I've used these in mission critical situations i..e my cell phone got super hot and i placed it on top of the kids konserve. phone did NOT get wet. Love it. I probably should have deducted a star for the ridiculous name. but let's not punish their marketing department. this product is practically revolutionary in it's category. excellent product, innovative feature (well...seems so to me). Five stars.

I missed the timeline for returning the U Konserve Ice Packs (  U Konserve - Ice Pack, Moisture Resistant Cover, Non-Toxic Gel, Machine Washable (Sky) ) and really wish I could still return them.They are nice looking & feeling but I guess when it says "Moisture Resistant" it means "there is probably going to be moisture". I was unhappy with this as I was looking for "No Moisture". Plus these do not stay cool for very long.

Excellent ice packs to use in a lunch bag. I use this everyday day In my kids lunch bags. They are durable and have stood up to 6 years of packed lunches. I bought two new packs as backups in the event I forget to put the other packs in the freezer.
