Love, love, LOVE this phone mount. Easy to install and very sturdy. I can easily place my phone in the holder and flip to the side if needed. Sometimes it will get a little jiggly but easily fixed when I tighten the mount. It does not happen regularly, but every once in a while. Great gadget for the price!

Got this just a few days ago and installed it right away in my Honda Pilot. I can't imagine a better-engineered and designed product. It's all plastic, so I can't comment on its durability and holding up to regular use, but it seems sturdy enough and I don't plan on abusing it much. It easily attached in seconds to my air vents, as many of these do, and is easily tightened/secured so that it won't move. Then the phone cradle IS moveable in every direction, with the ball joint, so you can easily put it in exactly the "facing-you" position you want -- horizontally or vertically. The phone "clamp" is spring loaded to open it, then it's just a simple squeeze on each side to snug the grippers up on the phone. I'll not that the cradle seems to have considerable depth to it, so a phone in a thicker case should still fit (check your dimensions). My iPhone 14 phone is not in a thick case, so there's some play front-to-back, with my phone -- UNTIL you snug-up the padded L-R grippers, which securely hold the phone just fine. This is the car phone-holder I've wanted to find for quite a while; glad I came across it. Too bad it's made in the PRC, of course. Five big stars though.....

I love that this connects to the air vent- it gives it a sturdy place to live without taking up space on the dashboard. The only issue it that over time is lose a up a bit, and you have to retighten it. I love it.

This is a perfect mount for your Iphone 12. We mounted it on the left side of the drivers steering wheel using the heater vent. The mount is adjustable and holds like a rock hooking through the vent, no wiggle or unusual vibration, easy to view the screen. our Subaru has CarPlay but would on occasion, "conk-out". This car mount allows us to use the Subaru USB port for navigation with the Iphone independent of Car-play. We would definitely buy again! The price is right, and it just works, safely. Recommended.

The car phone holder is a good deal serves the purpose when you're going down the road you don't get a ticket just put it on your vent and screw it in hold really well especially when you're using the GPS

The device doesn't get loose, my device is secure, and it's easy to use with one push of a button. The device is secured while still being able to charge without having to remove the device from the phone mount. Update January 2024. The device is difficult to position with a larger size phone, and it gets loose after a while of driving. It is probably due to the weight of phone and the bumps in the roads.

My wife is really hard on phone holders. She has broken three of them but not before knocking them off the dash vents every couple days. Not sure if she is grabbing the phone without looking or throwing at the holder instead of carefully placing in the cradle. Regardless, nothing has held up under her 'normal' use. I bought this holder that anchors on the vent blade in her '18 Escape. So far, so good. Likely she will break this one too but she will have to take the whole vent assembly with it. Should be a good story when that happens since she denies doing anything 'different' while breaking multiple vent mount holders that just use a friction 'squeeze' to work.

(update) unable to return it I solved the issue drilled a hole in a precise location once the mount is all the way tightened down. then proceeded to stick a nail in the hole to keep it from untwisting and loosening. Solved the issue I was having, but I shouldn't have to physically modify the product to get it to work as intended. Figured I'd post my solution in case anyone else was struggling with the same frustration. I was in need of a phone holder for the car. This mount holds the phone perfectly fine, however the system that mounts to the vent is where I am unsatisfied. I installed as instructed. Initially everything is nice and secure/snug. However after driving for 5-10 minutes the piece that holds the mount tight to the vent loosens and the phone in the mount is flopping everywhere, granted it stays on the vent, but it is sliding across the vent and drooping, bouncing up and down on every bump. I have to tighten it back up every few minutes which is very annoying.
