It's a week since I have been using it . I have many plants. Had ordered this for my plants that were in the foyer and didn't receive much light . Seems to be serving its purpose well. Too new to write more will update after using for a few months

This is a nice plant light. It has a timer so you can set it for different light times. The telescoping rod goes into the soil then you can adjust the height for the plant. It has the best light frequencies for indoor plants. I'm not sure why the light fixture can be adjusted to different angles, I just keep it flat over the plant. It does not get hot. It is very light weight, small in size, has a nice length of cord, and when properly placed deep in the soil it is very stable. The only assembly is putting the sbc end of the cord into the plug adapter and plugging it into an outlet. The timer starts from the time you plug it in and turn it on so if you want sixteen hours of light you have to remember to turn it on sixteen hours before the desired shut off time. If the light gets unplugged or the power goes off you have to start over with turning it on at your chosen start time. Pretty easy!

Smaller than I expected. The last one I had was at least an inch wider. I guess I need to measure. So far seems to be working fine. I've only had it about a week. I will edit my review if there are any problems. The last one I had lasted about a year and a half to 2 years. I'm not positive, my daughter-in-law gave it to me. But my plants loved it. I have one one yucca that has survived being in a pot with about 20 yuccas originally . And a mother-in-law's tongue that is loving life. Also a peach hibiscus that looks very happy. These were outdoor plants, but with our cold weather in Colorado, everybody needs to come inside for the winter! I hope this light works.

I usually have my plant on the window sill but every winter I have to move it because the heater is right below the window and the heat starts to dry my plants so I have to move it where there is no light. So far so good.

When I moved to Florida, it never crossed my mind that in order to be rated “hurricane proof“ the window glass had a coating on it that knocked out a good portion of UV light – something that plants need, of course! This little Light has done the trick! I have an amaryllis that’s in its “growth“ cycle and within a week it put up a leaf a that’s 5 inches tall now. So “yes“ I’d say this little seven dollar Light is doing a pretty good job on my “indoor“ amaryllis!
