I am new to mixed media...just figuring out my new obsession from card making and scrapbooking. The joy I feel when playing with these patinas...just...wow. It takes so little product to completely "grunge" up a page and take it from boring to beautiful. I wish I would have had these 20 years ago. But I didn't...but I plan on purchasing all of them. I mix them with texture paste, with gesso, with a little bit of glitter and modge podge. There is nothing they can't do. Use them as lowlights...highlights...darken them up to blend them and then layer a little more for depth. So so pretty...They are pretty sheer...I like to use them around the edges of cardboard or push them into wrinkly bits of paper. Very buildable though. Absolutely need to be sealed.

I am new to this product and the patina look of old rusted copper, however that didn’t deter me from trying since I had my vision for the end result. Product was easy to use and blend product colors for a rusted copper look on my recent project. Even has texture that adds to the old look of rust. 5 stars!

These patina paints worked amazing. Very nice colors once applied to my tumblers! I definitely will be stocking up on this brand!

Product is a VERY thick paste. Nothing wrong with that - purchaser needs to be aware. The colors are brilliant.The paste is too thick for the project I had in mind, but I tested it to see how well it applies. The results are great. Probably more suited to ceramics, clay, etc. If your looking for a thick paste and these colors, you won't be disappointed.

Very pleased with the special effects I'm getting with this product. It takes a little practice to get the look I'm going for, but there are many tutorials available online. One word of caution, the paint needs to be pasty and chalky and therefore WILL dry out once you open and use it, even with the lid screwed on. Adding water makes it too mushy for texturing. I've learned to add just a few drops of acrylic retarder to the remainder, shake it and seal after using and have been able to preserve the remainder in that pasty chalky consistency for later projects.

This stuff is so beautiful, I can barely explain it. I watched some youtube videos about application and use, including the one by Finnabair, and the modest piece I worked on was much more beautiful than on the video, I thought. I expected it to be the opposite. I think you just can't miss if you apply these three pastes together in any way. One video I watched also applied Rich Copper Metalique Wax, which I did as well, and the effect on a mixed media piece was stunning. This is the best looking patina method I have ever used--and the only easy one.
