Love this! I have an immune disorder and am very sensitive to - well, everything. I have been so happy with this that we have bought multiple for several rooms in our house. We have been dealing with wild fire smoke from Canada for the last 4 years now and this literally has been a life saver to help with smoke and allergies. It has 3 settings: low, medium, high, You can have the light on or off on the buttons (i leave the one in my room off so it is pure dark at night. They are super easy to clean and change filters on. It is a soft sound and not loud and obnoxious. Our first one we bought was probably around 3 or 4 years ago when the first smoke came and it is still running.

I purchased Germ Guardian because the reviews were favorable. There was no discernable change in air quality. I couldn't return it because there's no return reason for "Doesn't work as promised" So....I did more research to find something that would accomodate a central area and cover a larger area than a small room. This model is basic with three fan speeds. No other bells and whistles, however, I don't care about app access. I would have liked an air quality feature on the machine, but that still wasn't a deal breaker. I'll let my Alexa remind me when it's time to order a new filter. This one does work as promised. I have two cats that seem to compete on who uses the Litter Robot the most. I liked that it would scoop my litter, but there's still going to be some smell at points. It's positioned in a room near where the a/c vent pulls air in to circulate through the house. My A/C company who comes out twice a year offered a VERY VERY Expensive system with a UV light and electrostatic filter. *AHEM* The filter replacements for their recommended system were ridiculous. So...I decided on the next best thing and it was just going to more old school in the Air Purifier machine world. I've never heard of this brand, but reviews (as previously mentioned) were good, and the filter replacements are reasonable. My living room and Kitchen are an open space so there's no walls between the two, just a bar. My husband seems to have some kind of mental block that prevents him from closing the garbage can lid after putting something in it, and the first thing I smell when I walk in that back door is the dang garbage can. Mom think's I'm hypersensitive, but if I can smell it, so can someone else; it's embarrassing. I got tired of walking in the door and saying "It smells in here" This machine actually does work as promised and I've been able to walk in my door and say "Hey, it smells decent in here" without any changes to husband's poor habits and no relocation of the Litter Robot. We used to be able to smell the hot, steaming dumps right after the cat went from the couch. I have not smelled it since we started using it. It's perfectly placed by the a/c area where the evaporator pulls in the air. My husband thought I had recently dusted and I told him that was not the case. So I also believe it is grabbing the cat litter dust before it gets pulled in to the area where the a/c filter gets changed. (I am at a blank on what that is called right now, but if you have central air, you will know) Sorry this is wordy, but I wanted to share my experience for someone who does a lot of research before making purchases. Money doesn't grow on trees and everything is expensive. I'm very pleased with it. Update: 8/01/25 I run it 24/7 and it's still going strong. I'm changing the filters as recommended and it's pulling in that dust. It is ok on cooking smells. I do notice they don't linger as long.

This air purifier was purchased for a person who smokes in their home. It’s relatively quiet and it does remove smoke from the air and contains it to the one room. So far they really like it. As they are a senior, they said that it was easy to use.

Updated Review: I really enjoyed these while I had them. However, over time, I grew concerned about the cost and effort of replacing filters every month, especially with the workload from my three dogs. I ultimately decided to upgrade to a machine with a washable pre-filter so I could enjoy longer-lasting filters and reduce overall expenses. The main factors for me were filter longevity and cost efficiency. Original Review: I have three dogs, so the hair and dander in my house can get out of control, and my allergies flare up constantly. I wanted something to help with the shedding and hopefully reduce my symptoms. For the price, this air purifier is solid. It is very easy to use, the airflow is strong, and it does a good job circulating the air. The noise level on high is definitely loud—especially if you are sensitive to sound. I do not mind it because I like white noise, but if you are looking for something quiet, this is not the one. I do think it has helped with the dog smell in my home, but I have not had it long enough to say whether it is actually helping my allergies. That’s still to be determined.

This machine is amazing, we have 1 dog and 3 guinea pigs, you cant even tell we have animals, I feel I can breathe better while sleeping and housedoesn't lose fresh smell 1 day after cleaning it.. it works wonderfully on my 900 sq foot home. 10 out of 10 recommend.

So far so good and much less expensive than other brands that produce the same results. I have a large over the garage bedroom so I needed something that covered more space. I run mine on high because I have pets. The white noise is soothing and actually helps me sleep. Smells are down, air is fresh. I do wish it filtered smaller particles to kill mold and viruses, hopefully they are working that into their next model. For the price I love it though and I like that its certified "no ozone" and is true HEPA.

OK as far as filtering air but does not work well in large room. Noisy at full speed. Would not buy again.

It smaller then photos, it blew my sockets and returning u will have pay. Dont risk it
