I bought this mechanical pencil set to use for pattern design, but they can obviously be used for anything you need. The main selling point for me was that they came with an organized case. The case is great, opens and closes well, and keeps everything tidy while not in use. The pencils work great. I like how there are the 5mm and 7mm leads available in the set. The pencil erasers also work extremely well. You dont have to add much pressure for them to work. The additional jelly erasers are a nice bonus too! The pencils are easy to hold and grip while writing and aren't too thick or too thin in my hand. Its been years since I bought new pencils. I looked up my pastime favorites and the price had quadrupled! I was very pleased to find this whole set of quality mechanical pencils for the price of only one of my og favorites. Overall, this pencil set has exceeded my expectations! It is perfect for me. The only potentially negative attribute is it is difficult to open the case the first few times. It really snaps together to close, and when opening, you have to unsnap the 4 sections that secure it close. I found that it did get easier to open the more I did it. But it is still good information to know.
