Is it real wood or partical board?

I just got my King platform bed today. It is real wood. I don't see anything saying it is engineered in the description. It's real.

Is this bed frame sturdy and squeak free?

Sturdy yes. Squeak free.. Not so much, I've had this bedframe for 5 months now and just started to start squeaking and its driving me nuts

is it possible to attach a headboard to this frame

There's no pre-made holes for one but the frame and legs are thick/ sturdy enough if you wanted to drill your own holes and screw one to it you could.

Has anyone had any trouble with the slats falling out from under the bed? i bought a metal frame that the slats fall out from under the bed.

The slats are secure and have not moved. We have had this bed about a month now and love it.
